Introduction: Kova Industries has over a decade of experience in the metalworking industry. Our main focus is in the heavy commercial and industrial fields (mostly piping) but with over 10 different certifications and qualifications in three welding processes we have covered railings and kitchen counter modifications too. Licensed in both Oregon and Washington we will be able to cover your project needs. We enjoy the puzzle or challenge of building things from raw materials. We take great pride along with attention to detail in the work we do. The best part is hearing it's a job well done from the customer.

Initially very responsive, good communicator, great at suggesting a solution for our needs. Then, right as we were about to hire him, he simply disappeared; stopped communicating entirely, no explanation, nothing. I hope he is ok, but since he is now unreachable I can't give more stars.

Performed a quick welding job on our wrought iron gate. Reasonably priced.

Hans was great to work with. He did some structural welding for me on these 8 by 8 steel tube columns holding up a balcony and balcony roof. Prompt, professional, punctual, and did great quality work. I would hire him again.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The less information given usually results in a higher price. Unknowns on a project are a killer so with little information to go on I have to make sure all angles are covered. Work is normally covered for a period of time with a warranty (written agreement must be made between parties). Repeat work or longer projects result in cheaper rates due to volume.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Getting to know the customer is the biggest priority. Conversation goes a long way and listening to concerns will give the project a more personal feel and quality end product.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Started welding all through high school, a little stint in a college welding course then an apprenticeship through a mechanical contractor
