- What types of customers have you worked with?
I most often provide over-the-weekend type of jobs, where I have a timeline to complete part designs around 2-3 weeks including a review period. I can also do one-day turns for simple concepts. This sounds contradictory but it comes down to maturity of the concept and part, as well as desired manufacturing method. I specialize in concept development.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always be clear about deliverables. Providing a model does not mean that model is manufacturable. It's easy to create a 3D model, but the work is in creating a model that can also be made into a functional part that satisfies your requirements.
