Patricia is a passionate tutor and well knowledgeable, not only in teaching. I like how she customized each class for me which suited my need perfectly. She also enjoys learning new things so we had a great time sharing our thoughts during the classes.Sep 21, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My fee for lessons is standard based on my degree of educational and practical experience and accomplishment. For individual projects, my fees will vary according to the amount of work needed, but I like to have a competitive edge and will discuss the project with the requestor before setting the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I prefer to meet my potential clients before we begin the work as a way to assess if the client and I will work well together and trust each other. Without that trust, especially with children learning new skills, a reluctant learner can easily find the work "too hard". I want all my clients to want and reach for learning more independently, when they no longer need the tutor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My favorite way to grow professionally is through conferences. Meeting other educators and having deep conversations about how we teach is more meaningful than simply taking classes. I do that too, though.
