FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each lesson is 30 minutes, unless an hour lesson is desired. You can do pay as you go, (which is week by week payments,) or month by month payments. The payments can be made through Paypal, Venmo, Square Cash, and Google Wallet. The cancellation policy is just 24 hour notice, and I will do a make up lesson, a refund or let the money you already paid or roll it over into next months pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do each lesson according to the students goals and aspirations in music. Every lesson is individualized according to the students level, taste in music and ultimate goals. During the lesson we will work on laying the ground work for the fundamentals of music and creating a lessons plan to get you at your goals as fast as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began formal music lessons when I was 7 learning guitar and voice, and expanded my skill to ukulele, piano, and mandolin. I studied music and music theory all throughout high school and I majored in music at Brigham Young University. I have studied various vocal, guitar and songwriting styles ranging from pop, rock, r&b classical and jazz. I had an emphasis in my college major in the mechanics of heathy vocal production, and vocal performance. I also have experience in professional songwriting, music business, and performance psychology (which is the study of overcoming stage fright, and music therapy.) In addition I have studied multiple instruments with an emphasis in lead guitar.
