I can't say enough good stuff about Jon's guitar lessons. I came in with some very basic beginner experience and Jon inspired me to reach much more intermediate and advanced levels. I learned a lot about theory as well as the practical application of the lessons. We worked with many genres and I am a much more inspired and competent guitar player today. Jon is easy to connect with and his guidance inspired me to practice and really learn to play well.
Aaron was amazingly professional, and so patient with my 8 year old daughter! She loved taking guitar lessons through him! We can't wait for life to slow down a little so we can go back!
I started guitar lessons with James a couple of months ago. He's very good about tailoring lessons to what I want to work on, and finding songs with new techniques for me to practice.
I have had lots of guitar lessons from lots of good teachers and Oliver was the best of them. He adapts to whatever level you are at, teaches you what you need to know, and does with exceptional musicality along with phenomenal technique instruction. Whatever you want to learn, in whatever genre, at whatever level of performance (I am a semi professional musician), Oliver will make you a better guitar player and a better musician. You will never regret having taken lessons with Oliver.
My daughter took lessons from Scott about a year ago. She was in the 7th grade and the only female percussionist in the marching and concert band at her middle school. Scott helped her to come out of her shell. At home, I would only hear her practice on her pad or her snare drum, (when it wasn't at school), so I never really knew how well she played. During one of her lessons, Scott had to come downstairs and talk to me about something. In the middle of the conversation, we both stopped talking and just listened. I said, "Is that her playing??", he gave a resounding yes! Assuming no one could hear her, she just let loose and went for it. She sounded awesome!! Much more advanced that either of us knew. Then Scott knew just how to challenge her. Due to an unfortunate "cut in budget" on the home-front, we had to quit taking lessons. The following school year, her band teacher invited her to be the drummer for the Jazz band! What an honor. We knew it was due to the fact that Scott challenged her beyond what she thought she was capable of, and every lessons was filled with patience, a little humor, and a laid back atmosphere where there was no stress or anxiety. She always anticipated her lesson day. We gave our recommendation of Scott Watts to my daughter's band teacher after she saw such great results in her ability and confidence. Now, she could confidently refer her percussionist, (present and future), to a teacher with such high praise and reputation. We have kept in touch with Scott and look forward to being able to resume lessons again, hopefully soon! As recently as today, the pastor at our church and the worship team leader asked if my daughter would be interested in playing the drums for the worship team! What a huge honor. Thank you Scott!! You are the BEST !!
Very friendly and very knowledgeable. He is a teacher who is very flexible to your needs and wants as a student.
Great little studio to work in. Chad is willing to work around your schedule and definitely knows his way around a guitar.
I provide guitar, ukulele, folk, jazz rock lessons. I teach lessons from my remodeled garage studio and sometime travel to nearby students if they are close by. I like lots of music but most of worship and classic rock.
I can teach you anything you want to know about the sweet science of playing rhythm guitar. I've been passionate about my instrument since I was 14 years old, (currently, I'm 21). Anyone from the "absolute beginner,'' to the ''more broken-in" player is eligible. I can teach acoustic, electric, and any genre you want. I do blues, jazz, and rock n roll (and all its derivatives). I also do heavy metal, thrash, death, speed melo-death, black, anything you need, I will show you in easy to follow, step-by-step, hands-on instruction, and guarantee that with every visit, you will learn something new or else, no charge for the lesson. I'll teach the following: chords, scales, modes, harmonies, licks and riffs to your favorite songs, rhythm, picking techniques, strumming patterns, and everything else. If you're really serious about learning guitar, and the music theory behind it, I can guide you through that as well. My requirements are as follows: *I charge 10$ an hour *Must have your own guitar (two is always better) *No, ''This is too hard, or my fingers just don't work that way cop-out excuses." Serious soon to be rockers only. *Must know the difference between real music and the synthesized, auto-tuned, sample-based beats that gets called "music'' *Bus fare would be appreciated *A stress free environment where you can focus *A place to Jam loudly, if possible But most importantly, a burning desire to make sweet musical love flow from your inner essence and out through your callous fingertips (in due time of course). Yup, so my name is Isaiah G. Taylor, male, currently residing in Skagit County. I'm not in it for the money as you can tell with the low cost per hour, but rather to revive the spirit of hard rock and heavy metal, one individual at a time. Search my name on Facebook, Isaiah G. Taylor. Call the number (make sure you mention guitar lessons to whoever may answer, so they can help you better). Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. P.S. A two and a half week's instruction is for free, if you have an electric guitar and amplifier that I can take home and call my baby.
