I've been taking voice lessons with Gretchen, and reverb lessons made the experience and communication seamless.
My daughter was 6 when she started getting piano lessons, Aaron was very patient and had an amazing abality to keep her focused on the task at hand. Aaron's teaching methods are very efficient had her learn very quickly.
Ryan is an awesome teacher! When I was taking drum lessons from him, he personalized the lessons to fit my exact needs. He helped me correct bad habits and he opened my eyes to new and better techniques. Because of him, I am playing better than I ever could have imagined!
Dr. Black is a wealth of knowledge and is a dedicated professional. I had the pleasure of receiving tutelage in voice lessons and music theory from him. I was able to compose my first piece and had it performed with his help. In addition Dr. Black also assisted me in practicing and recording a tryout tape for an all state competition. With his help I secured a spot in the all state choir and met other young, dedicated musicians that I still call friends to this day. Under Dr. Black's wing I grew as a musician and vocalist. If you are looking for a kind, patient, experienced professional he is your man. He knows his stuff and is very versatile. From Gregorian chant to musicals to top 20 hits he can help you compose and sing it all.
I have worked with several voice instructors over the years. Each had their unique style of teaching, and I experienced different degrees of success. My first lesson with William was amazing. We focused on breathing and a few vocal warm up exercises, but my voice "came to life", in that I could reach notes that I didn't think I could reach anymore! Subsequent lessons built on what was taught the lesson before. William shared all of the warm up exercises with me, electronically, which made practicing at home much easier. He is extremely patient, and encourages you to push beyond any limits you think you have! He focuses on YOU and your progress. I look forward to each lesson because I know that I will leave the studio a better singer, every time!

Learn to play the guitar and sing for beginners. Do you have the desire to play music or sing a melody? Then come and learn with me.
A lot of voice teachers teach to attain a certain sound. I believe this often causes more harm than good (this opinion is informed by personal experience). I teach each student to unlock their most natural, true voice and carefully help them strengthen and enhance it to their highest potential through proper technique and healthy habits. I have had extremely good results with students who have been told their whole lives that they cannot and should not sing. Some of them have gone on to sing solos onstage after only a few weeks of coaching from me. I don't claim to be a miracle worker, because it took a boat load of very hard work on their part, but the results speak for themselves.
I am a diagnostician. I focus on developing the strengths of students and integrally troubleshooting any faults that arise and training those away rather than ignoring them. I use technically proficient exercises, positive reinforcement, and a tailored individual approach depending on the way the students learns. Someone who learns by doing will never benefit as much by just reading and having a mere theoretical understanding and someone who learns by reading will benefit by a smarter and more methodical approach less frequently when it comes to putting what they have read into action.
Do you still say that you'd like to learn an instrument someday but feel like it's too late? Maybe you play a little already and would like to learn to jam with others? Are you ready to break out into the music scene and need some tips on how to be successful? I can help! With over 20 years of gigging and recording experience in the music industry, I have taught everything, from simple chords to booking pro gigs, and I would love to help you get started putting more music into your life. The focus of my teaching is to discover what makes you passionate about music and harness that passion to push you towards your musical goals. Be it playing around a campfire with friends or becoming the next singer/songwriter hit sensation, I can help by helping you unlock your talents as well as being cool and confident when playing with and/or in front of other people.
