FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new customer with The Puget Hound is set up with their own personal online portal, to make scheduling and communication the easiest experience possible. We also offer free meet and greets for every service we provide, including daycare and in home pet sitting visits!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Puget Hound is regularly re-certified in animal CPR and First Aid, as well as being members of several dog care communities such as the Pet Sitter's Association. The owner graduated with honors as a certified Veterinary Technician Assistant from PMI, Seattle. Our staff members all have years of canine and small animal education, and receive ongoing training throughout their employment.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I, Haley Apollo, started The Puget Hound after having worked for over 16 years in numerous different animal centric environments. From doggy daycares to veterinary clinics, to dog walking, pet insurance, and even wildlife rehabilitation, animals have always been the central hub of my life. Providing animals and the humans who love them the utmost of care is what I've dedicated this business to, and the bonds I've formed with each of the over 300 pets in our care is a testament to our work ethic and enthusiasm!
