Daryl is professional, courteous, prompt and very skilled. He removed a damaged bathroom sink and installed the new one--quickly!. I asked if he would be willing to tack on another small project--redoing the silicone around the tub--and he graciously agreed to. I highly recommend him.
Larry did a fantastic job on our living room and hall painting. We also had him do some drywall repairs which turned out great. We have other things that need to be done and will call him again.
Did a beautiful job on my bathroom tile. Very pleased with his work and would recommend him.
I highly recommend John and his team. They are friendly, fast, accurate and very reasonably priced. My husband and I hired them last month to paint the exterior of our home Seahawk blue and gray and I love it!!!!! We will definitely hire them again!!!!!!!
Tom installed light fixtures, smoke alarms, security motion detector lights, and a big file cabinet. He also caulked and did touch up painting. He works quickly, and cares to make it look nice. His price is reasonable and he has the know - how. I am hiring him again.
As part of selling our home, we needed to clean our metal roof, including moss/mold removal, and flush out gutters and downpipes. Mr Fullner responded within an hour of posting on Thumbtack, gave us a preliminary quote and scheduled the job. He called the day before the job to confirm the appointment. Living in Sudden Valley, we were prepared for possible changes to the scope of the job, once he had viewed the roof (think many tall trees and very lush mossy environment). After checking the condition of the roof, he discussed possible options for completing the job, suggesting environmentally sound methods of treating the mold on the roof. The roof, gutters and downspouts were pressure-washed and the roof treated for moss/mold prevention. The job took approximately 12 hours, over two days, including clean-up of debris removed from the roof. Mr Fullner used all necessary safety harnesses, shoes, etc while working on the roof. He also completed a separate, additional small job to mend some loose window trim while with us. Our neighbors were so impressed they hired him on the spot to clean their roof also. Mr Fullner is very cooperative and provides a very professional service. He is very knowledgeable about the work he takes on. We would recommend him highly for his advertised services and would get in touch with him for work on our next home.
Painted a ton of drywall with primer. Was very accommodating on scheduling, stuck to his bid even when the job was bigger than anticipated and got the job done quickly and well.
Many jobs including deck railings first and second floors, house painting, drip watering system. More to come with the construction of an entertainment center.
David painted the entire interior of our home, including lofted ceilings and wall repair. David's work was more than impressive - he was very clean, organized and detail-oriented with his work product. He was very reasonably priced and the quality of his service and work product is excellent. We couldn't have been happier to choose David to paint our home, and he will now be our "go to" professional for all of our family's painting needs.
After having a truly awful experience with a large contractor in the remodel of our kitchen this past summer and fall, it was with some trepidation that I ventured into the arena of small business contracting as a remedy for the previous disaster. The possibility of experiencing something similar again weighed heavily on me; nevertheless, the job needed to be finished. So I went through the bidding process on Thumbtack and consulted with several contractors, deciding on Forte Construction Alliance to complete the work of tiling the backsplash in our kitchen. Nate Forte has a wealth of experience that is evidenced by his easy-going and confident evaluation of the task at hand. He examined the previous contractor's shoddy workmanship, explained what needed to be done and how he (and his assistant Ivan) would fix the mess, made suggestions about what specific tile types, colors, and grout would best suit my clearly stated budget constraints (and where to purchase the requisite materials at a reasonable price). Nate immediately sent me a clearly detailed bid that was consistent with other bids I had received. Nate's assistant Ivan (and later Ivan's father) showed up at the appointed times, got to work right away, and completed the job precisely when they said they would. Ivan is an amiable, highly skilled and very focused man; it was a pleasure to watch him work, and work hard. Nate carefully inspected the work that Ivan and Ivan's father had completed; when I pointed out that a USB port was missing in an electrical outlet, Nate immediately went to Lowe's, purchased the correct hardware and installed it. Nate also pointed out that because we had a recent granite cabinet top installation that there could be settling that might create a very slight separation between the backsplash tile and the granite over time. He made it clear that if that were to occur, that he would come out and regrout any affected areas at no cost. Ivan's artistry as a tilest has made our kitchen beautifully habitable again. Because I was so very pleased with the workmanship and the professionalism displayed by Nate and his asscociates, I asked him to evaluate another remodeling project I had in mind. Once again he quickly explained what needed to be done and how, and had a reasonble and meticulous bid to me within days. Forte Construction Alliance has my utmost respect and my highest recommendation. Mostly, I had the feeling that I was dealing with an honest man of integrity who values competency and craftmanship and stands by his work. Ted Freemantle Lynnwood, Wash. Thursday, January 14, 2016
For the last year my husband, & I had the great opportunity of enjoying the wonderful work of art he had done on our apt. wall, as well as the painting of the whole 2 bdrm. 1 bath , the Pergo flooring in the living room,, & dining room, & the remodeling of the bathroom. Truly a professional, artist in every since of the word. Our Landlord has even said they wouldn't even paint over that gorgeous wall he had done. We would hire him back in a second.
The guys did such an amazing time cleaning my apartment. Super friendly and easy going.
I hired Jeff and Karen to work on an extensive project in 2011. Our family home was on the market needing to be sold and desperately needed to be updated and refreshed. My parents had started projects but unfortunately as they got older things were not finished. I am so pleased with Houseworks professionalism, knowledge, problem solving and work ethic. I could not have hoped or dreamed for a better outcome. There was a lot of challenges, nicotine stained ceilings and walls, outdated tile, lighting, flooring you name it... It needed to be worked on. Jeff and Karen came in and completely transformed a dull dingey interior (including the garage too!) into a safe, light, bright, completely wonderful place to call home. The house had increased offers and was sold quickly. The comments on the interior were all great. I put my faith and trust in Jeff and Karen with our home. We found that our trust was not misplaced. You will not be disapppointed with hiring this company for any of your project needs. Sincerely, Shelley Rowe Ferndale, WA. 2/7/12
I have used Will's services for ten years and am very happy with his work, which has included installing cork, slate and travertine floors; installing a stone backsplash; installing three solar tube skylights; building a shed out of mostly recycled materials; building a fence; and numerous repairs. He guarantees and takes pride in his work, and I am in awe of his knowledge and expertise. Furthermore, Will is always reliable, courteous and easy to deal with, and his prices are reasonable. It is rare to find someone so honest and conscientious. I recommend Clarkwork without reservation.
Scott came in and cruised through my 1300sqft house laying all new finished plywood floors that have held tight and look amazing! And all for an amazing price helping me work within my budget. Got nothing but praise for Scott and PNW Hardwood Floors Inc!
