FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I'm on the Internet daily researching information for current projects. That research takes me to places where I find information about latest techniques. Learning to code with the latest techniques and applying them to current projects means I'm updating my education in Web development daily.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been working with computers since 1986. I developed my first Web site in 1995 for a business I had then. Since there was nobody creating Web sites at that time (in general), I had to learn to do it myself. Once I completed the site I realized that my artistic background found a new home. From that point I continued to develop a few other sites and then decided in 2000 that I would like to make it my career. Since 2000 I have continued to develop both Web sites and my education in Web development because learning is also a large part of my personality. That has also allowed me to learn search engine optimization at a level far above most in the country.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Troubleshooting, repairing poor or illegal code and making something work that a previous developer could not is where most of my time is spent. Additionally, providing information for people about "how to" on something related to their site is also a large part of my time. Helping people to understand why something needs to be done in terminology that the average user can easily understand is something I include with every project, as well as to those who are simply looking for help to understand what their site needs.
