He's also able to school ya on nutrition and weight. After all, he's a veganist. OMG. And he's got cred...marathons, ultra marathons, triathlons, and ironman. Completed and finished d'm all. Dang! So let me ax u somtin...u got a muffin top and too much junk in dat trunk? And brotha's---not lookin' fly in your mankini and got no game cuz ur lookin' wack? Then Ben's da man. Yeah, he's all that and a bag of vegan chips. Ain't nobody betta. He will ride to da hood and train u out in the comfort of your crib! Now dat's da bomb. Or u can work it out at the studio. And he's no gym rat---u feel me? U know the type...body by Nautilus, brain by Mattel. He's lean & mean; like a long distance runner. Not to mention, kinda easy on the eyes. I've never had a trainer before and didn't really know what to expect. All of the trainers are very personable. Even when I work out with my trainer, the other trainers give you a positive shout when you're doing well or need a posititive push on harder days. The workouts make me comfortable with all aspects of the gym and I always feel well informed about each exercise. If your trainer isn't available, there are plenty of opportunities to jump into another trainer's workout. I still haven't found a love for working out but the trainers at Serious about Fitness make it fun.
I have worked with many trainers in my athletic career and Jeremy is a top grade trainer with a fantastic sense of pragmatism. He can spend a week or so with you and build a nearly perfect routine that pushes you to your limits without leaving you feeling uncomfortable and beaten. He puts a strong emphasis on progression and consistency as opposed to short, unrealistic gains. Wonderful trainer all around.
I found Jeff Turner and and his Super Fit gym on Thumbtack when I was looking online for a trainer. I had originally been looking for a cross fit trainer but soon learned that Super Fit turned out to be what I really needed. Jeff's philosophy and style is an alternative to cross fit and does not impact my body in a negative way as a hard driving ballistic cross fit routine can tend to do when just starting up again like I am. Also with my work schedule not being typical because I work away from home for 4 weeks and then home for 4 weeks, Jeff has been awesome to set me up with a variation of a Super Fit routine that I can easily do on the ship while I'm away working. I will now be able to jump my 52 year old body right back in with him and the other trainers at his gym when I get home and continue on my track to great health! Tough. Thorough. Tailored. Coach Z's individualized training regiment was designed specifically for me and has, and is, paying off incredibly. I have trained with three other trainers before Z, one of which was for a body building competition. The shortcuts I took with that personal trainer have left long term negative affects on my body. Back, knee, and IT band injuries had left me frustrated, unmotivated, and overweight. What had worked before, did not work anymore. My girl friend found Z on Thumbtack and set up a meeting for me without my knowledge. I was initially resistant- but it didn't take long to let my guard down and trust in Z's guidance. In only a couple of months, my body and overall well being has improved greatly. Z's training helped by body work through injury and my body's imbalances - all the while helping me lose a lot of weight! Also, I am military and his training has helped me get back in shape to do my job. Z always goes above and beyond - even coordinating with me and my chiropractor and orthopedic specialist. Z is your man. Trust me.

The sessions are never dull and keep me coming back for more. I ended up meeting Mi as my personal trainer and I was exremely happy with the way he understood my goal and constantly working with me to help my goals. I have a lower back problem and cervical spine issues. So I was not so flexible in lifting weights and working out. Mi helped me in identifying my weak spots and teaching me different ways to build strength in those areas. I was able to do more and different workout than I used to do before. He is really a cool guy to work with and is serious about his clients. I strongly recommend him.
Melissa is the best. I have had trainers in the past, but she by far is the best one. I love her so much. She understood exactly what I wanted and has definitely helped me get there. I seriously recommend her to everyone ❤️
Jessica is an amazing trainer! She knows how to get the results you want and she really puts her time and effort into making sure you are happy. Honestly, I can say I haven't had a moment were she hasnt pushed me and made me better. I'm thankful for being able to have had all the opportunities to train with her! If you are looking to better yourself Jessica is the right person for you. Jessica knows how to encourage you and help push yourself in the right direction to get the right results for you. I can't wait to get back to the gym since my pregnancy to train with her!
All the trainers take my personal history into account and remember from visit to visit. They really seem to know what my body with all its varying maladies can and can not do. When I was having back pain, they took the time to help figure out what caused it and how to improve it. Very knowledgable I drive 45-60 minutes to train there. I really like the personal attention
Coach Lind is a dynamic trainer and skilled in functional mobility and a drill sergeant for quality form. Form is your function and without it, what's the point. He's knowledge, dedication and attitude is top notch. As a marathoner and triathlete, it is crucial to have the proper strength coach to help you stay injury free. Bonus is that he is one of the funniest and personable trainers I know and I thank him for being my support for so many years as my coach.
Training with Nick is one of the greatest things I have ever done for myself. Since working with him I have become a personal trainer myself and can say without a doubt that he is among the best in the industry. He not only transformed my health, but taught me so much that I was able to pass along to my own clients. I've worked with 6 different trainers for extended periods of time to learn different things and Nick is the only one who takes continuing his education seriously. His wealth of knowledge will change you for the better. If your goal is fat loss, this is where he excels this most. Everything else I've tried has been a waste of time and money by comparison. I can't speak highly enough of Nick, the personal training industry needs more trainers like him.
Francis is a fabulous trainer! His workouts are customized to fit your problem areas and he is fully supportive and encouraging throughout the workout. He has the perfect amount of push that is needed to challenge you and most importantly makes the workout fun!
I have been with Jamie for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. She is truly a genuine person as well as a dedicated trainer. She takes initiative to get to know you and your goals so that she can create the best individual plan. As someone who isn't confident finding her way around a gym, I loved her home workouts as well as gym workouts and outdoor workouts. I have never done the same workout twice which is perfect for me since I get bored easily. Since starting with Jamie, I feel like I found myself again and she has given me confidence, strength, and a healthy outlook on life. She is simply amazing. - Samantha : )
I started training with Tim Koffler 8 years ago, yes, EIGHT years ago. Before, I had worked with others trainers, but Tim proved to be the best by far. He introduced exercises that I did not think i'd be capable of doing. He encouraged me to go for them and I learned how to trust him and his judgement. Tim changed the routines all the time to keep me challenged, prevent boredom and see the results I wanted. I can honestly say I would not be in the shape I'm in without Tim. He is demanding and creative. He is always ready with new ideas; always willing to adjust workouts. He has an eye for my strengths and weaknesses (of which there are quite a few). Training is not always fun, but Tim knows that. He is patient when it seems necessary, supportive and very knowledgeable. A few years ago, Tim also became a Licensed Massage Therapist. That extra knowledge of the body and its functions is priceless. He can "diagnose" problems during training; give expert advice and he offers massage therapy if needed. I love the workout sessions with Tim. He pushes me harder than I would ever do myself. He is easy going and reliable and became a good friend after all these years. A great trainer like Tim is such a pleasure. It's a commitment I made to stay healthy and in shape; and it's a commitment on his side, too. I will continue training with him as long as I'm able to lift a 2-pound dumbbell!
Having Maryliah as a trainer is a delight. She manages to instill a strong drive to improve, while giving you the sense that your health is in good hands.
I started working with my personal trainer, Peter Lucas, who views things with a holistic approach, to improve overall health, well-being, and spirituality. He’s helped me see obstacles as opportunities instead! He’s helped me with nutrition, meditation, journaling and having a healthy, wholesome, and positive attitude and perspective towards life. Also from him I’m slowly learning some kinesiology addressing physiological, biomechanical, and psychological mechanisms of movement. He’s like a Buddha, really— calm, patient, and kind. Usually I am scared sh*tless to go on walks by myself especially on busy main streets. It’s anxiety inducing because I have Tourette urges where I want to jump out into traffic or I worry about having tics where I fall and roll all over the floor, scraping my knee pretty badly but working with Peter Lucas has helped me formed a “just do it” mentality, living in the moment and stop forecasting so damn much. So now I go on brisk walks everyday for at least 20 minutes, workout five times a day for at least half an hour, and learning how to meditate and eat right. Even though it hasn’t been 12 weeks yet (the amount of time I am working with Peter) I can vouch that he is compassionate, loving, understanding, knowledgeable, patient, humorous, funny, free-spirited, laid-back and down to earth. Overall an amazing human being. I also appreciate his calmness and tranquility when I lunge at him, toss things at him, or have other tourette symptoms that night be startling and nerve wracking to others. It helps me remain calm and less anxious and to focus on my workout.
