Hard working, courteous, honest. My Gazebo was not easy to assemble but he stuck with it until it was completed. I paid extra as I felt bad for him.
Contacted me quickly. Able to fit in my lawn within a few days. Hopefully good service will continue
We were in a bind and needed someone quick to replace trim in multiple rooms. Gordy was quick to respond, gave us a very fair quote, and completely the work quickly and beautifully. We will absolutely be hiring him again for other projects!
Jeremy did a great job building our gazebo. He works hard and has a good work ethic. Even came at the weekend to help out. Will definitely use him again!
Great price, quality work, professional. Completed outdoor : exterior painting of entire house. Very happy.
TJ and his sons built a new fence for me. Saw my vision and made it happen. Great communication throughout the whole process. Willing to start job right away and worked after normal 9-5pm hours to get job done in the time frame I wanted. Will hire again for next project.
Corresponding with Todd leading up to fence gate installation was easy and straight-forward. We made arrangements to have the install done while I was away from the site and it worked well. I'd work with Todd again. Thanks!
I hired Nick to install a gazebo I bought online from Costco in a kit. Nick was able to make it out very quickly. Installation went smoothly. He's great to talk to and very professional. Don't hesitate to hire nick you want to regret it. Thank you nick!!
Dave and his crew spent a month replacing all the windows and exterior doors and upgrading the exterior and interior trim in our 70's rambler. He coordinated drywall, electric and plumbing for our project. Everyone who came to the project site was kind, professional and gracious. Each day Dave and his crew left the job site clean and ready to go for the next work day. Dave was patient with me as I made decisions and dealt with the unexpected surprises that renovations uncover. We look forward to working with Dave next year to upgrade bathrooms, install facia and gutters and upgrade interior moulding and doors.
Jon is amazing! He tiled our kitchen backsplash and it is flawless. He was professional, timely, and very personable. We are thrilled with his work and will definitely be seeking him out for future projects. Thanks, Jon!
I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)
I contracted Mr. Wendell's Moving Hauling & Handyman Services to level out an area along my back fence that was 75 feet long and about 3 feet deep. I contacted Dell Patterson over the weekend and scheduled for him to come out Monday morning at 9:00 AM. Dell called about 15 minutes out to say he would be a little late do to heavy traffic. He showed up about 5 minutes late but listen to what I needed and then got to work with my tools. After about an hour Dell contacted me to say he wasn't feeling well and couldn't complete the job that day. I was understanding and we arranged to finished the job the next day. Dell was in continual contact with me, letting me know how he as feeling and he was able to come back the next day to finish the project. I got exactly what I needed to talk me project to the next step. I will consider using Dell and Mr. Wendell's Moving Hauling & Handyman Services again.
we had such a great expirence with Finishing & Flooring . We called them to come out and do some small projects in our kitchen and install our back door . I highly recommend them and Mom and I will continue to hire them for anything I need in the future.
We have worked with Chris off and on for years doing various projects for our rental properties and home I live in now. I have had him remodel kitchens, bathrooms, outside work which has included additions, fences, decks, rebuilding my garage, repaving my driveway, building a retaining wall, installing windows, doors, floors, fans, waterproofing, you name it he's done it for me including foreclosed properties. What I really like about this company is the rates are reasonable, hes a great listener and communicator and his wife helps him run the day to day operations with emails and office work so he's not so overworked. I have hired contractors in the past that have came in demoed the job, demand more money or they disappear. Chris has either asked for a deposit and paid as work has progressed, paid hourly and than paid weekly, or what have you. Even if something did interfere with being on that job daily, he always has told me via email or called and he always keeps me updated on how things are going or if there were extra costs involved, we were notified immediately. I think most contractors try to do the work, the estimates, get materials, do the office work by themselves and i think it gets them into trouble not being able to be at three places at once so they do really well. The only complaint i have is he might show up late once in awhile but I know running a company isn't easy, I am self employed as well. I highly recommend him and his company to do remodeling and repairs. Very professional and they fix any work that has been paid for or charged for free. I have never had an issue getting him back out here to fix something that I wanted done differently or organically didn't stay put. I am avaliable for personal referrals.
Alvarez construction came and did an excellent job painting my awning. They were extremely detail oriented and professional! I would definitely recommend them!
The worked started an was complete in one day although they had allowed 2-3 not including taking the forms off. They repaired a slab and put in a wall with a footing to secure the slab. They were easy to work with and did an excellent job. I would recommend they for your next project.
