Theo was very prompt and well-worded in our communications, and set me up with a tutor in my area quickly. I'm looking forward to more of my Japanese language lessons!

I have only been working with José for a couple of weeks. But so far I am very happy. José has been very accommodating in arranging Spanish language lessons with. He is very professional with texts, and lessons planned, and is dedicated to teaching. He is going at a pace that matches my ability, and works continues to work on any particular topic, until I am confident that I understand before moving on.

My first lesson was very good. Gena and I got acquainted with each other and began studying Spanish. Gena is very nice and I'm sure, from what I've seen, that she'll be a good teacher. I'm really looking forward to learning Spanish from her.

I took Spanish lessons with Sarah over the summer, and it was excellent. She helped me set up a plan of what I wanted to learn, when I wanted to learn, and how I wanted to learn. She recommended a mix of Latino music and other Spanish artists, in addition to preparing an assortment of worksheets and packets for me to complete and learn from. When we met (weekly or whenever worked, for whatever amount of time we had decided on the previous week), she would go over the competed worksheets with me, and help me improve upon anything I had missed or wanted to know more about. We met at a public library near her house for a few weeks, but moved to her home for a quieter location for conversational Spanish. She went above and beyond the usual 'worksheets and bookwork', by suggesting music and other things that greatly improved my learning experience, giving me more motivation to learn the language and excel in my studies. She was always prompt and arrived with all of her materials. I am continuing to study Spanish in school and plan on continuing lessons with her possibly next summer, or whenever I feel I need help from an outside source to learn the language to the best of my abilities.

I am currently on hiatus from the classroom. I taught Spanish at high school and junior high level for 15 years before moving to Switzerland. I took up French before moving to Switzerland and continued for two years while living in Geneva. I had a son upon returning to the Seattle area, and I am currently a stay-at-home mom looking to reenter the work force.

I am a native speaker from Spain, taught in three states and interested to start private lessons to teach the Spanish language and culture in all levels and all ages. I have a 5-year university degree in"modern philology" by the University of Sevilla, Spain. I am in the board of the Spain Association of the Pacific Northwest. I make my classes practical, dynamic and fun so that each student of any age and level can start "speaking in Spanish", from day one, and become confident and excited to discover and excel in Spanish.
