Introduction: Here at Sunvek, we strive to have a solution for you, whether it be foam insulation in a pole barn, protective coating for your shop or closed-cell foam roofing for your roof. We are your premiere source for foam and coatings in eastern Washington. We have re-roofed the city hall using spray polyurethane foam roofing with granules and elastomeric coatings. The foam was built up to create a pitch for drainage. Light-colored coatings were used to reflect sunlight in order to minimize heat gain in the summer, and the granules were added to increase resistance to damage from hail and other objects. We have tore off and replaced roofing of an industrial building to achieve several goals. The spray polyurethane foam provided waterproofing and insulating value at the roof. White elastomeric coating installed over the new foam roof maximizes light deflection to minimize heat gain in the roof. The combination of spray polyurethane foam and white coating will result in decreased energy usage and reduced utility bills.
