Introduction: **There are currently no in person meetings. Most communication will be strictly through email.** **Family Law Matters ONLY** Washington State Bar Association created the Limited License Legal Technician, only in the area of family law. I can be found on their website as LLLT #129. A federal background check was completed before I could qualify for my license. I have over fourteen years experience in family law and have trained several attorneys in family law. Helping people get their legal situation resolved at a reduced cost compared to an attorney is the reason I chose to wait for the limited license to be available rather than going to law school. Legal assistance should not be out of reach. I personally know how difficult the process can be to do things right through the court and get the results you desire. I will prepare you from the start with complete documents, a streamlined process, and I consider your unique situation in determining how to best assist you in putting your best foot forward. I offer flat rate and hourly services dependent on your needs. I begin with a free consultation to make this determination. I truly and sincerely want to help others get through this tough time in their lives so they can move on peacefully. I encourage mediation rather than going to trial, whether I am working with someone through my business or the firm I contract with, managing their family law department.

Legal Document Preparation

I had a last minute job responding to a petition to modify a parenting plan ans nobody would help or even consider helping. But Christine answered right away that she would do it and quoted a price I felt was more than reasonable. Despite unfortunate delays on my end, she got the job done right when I needed it and was quite pleasant and very helpfull the whole time. If I ever need more documents done I know exactly who I will be contacting! She did great work and was a real life saver!

Legal Document Preparation

Christine was extremely thorough and although my situation turned out to be a bit complicated, she got the job done! She accommodated my availability and stayed late to meet with me! Her pricing was extremely reasonable and I feel confident that the documents she helped me with will helpe when I go to my parenting plan hearing next week! I will definitely use Christine's services in the future.

Very professional. It was a little difficult to find the office but with one phone call I was able to get there. Explained everything, took her time, waited for my partner to get there before finishing because he was 15 minutes late. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I only provide flat rate services, I will break down a case to what is pertinent at the time services are requested. Payment plans can be discussed, often work will not start on my end until full payment is received-case dependent.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

LLLT Services- Gather initial information to determine services client needs, provide a quote specific to their situation, provide fee agreement to be signed and request payment before work will begin on the matter. Communication is primarily through email to keep a record and due to the nature of the work involved. Mediation Services- Determine what the subject matter is, whether parties are in agreement to mediate, how soon services are needed, tentatively schedule. Provide both parties with mediation agreement to review, sign, and return with initial deposit. Notary Services- Determine client's ability to meet in a convenient location for them and myself, are coherent, understand what they will be signing, have a valid ID. Schedule and may send invoice prior or collect payment at meeting.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Paralegal Degree with additional certified credits in legal classes 10 years Notary experience 16 years working as a paralegal in the areas of criminal, bankruptcy, and family law (14 years primarily in family law). I have trained 15 new attorneys in family law in my career 1 year of Family Law courses with University of Washington, to include ethics and LLLT rules education (an attorney may take one quarter, if any). 40 hours of mediation training I consistently attend CLE's for family law a minimum of once a year (more than the required hours).
