Michael Has been giving me piano lessons for a short while and I've really enjoyed them. He does a good job of feeling out how much new knowledge you can handle week in and week out to keep your interest without overloading you with "homework". It's been great.

David taught my son for ten years. For many of those years I attended the lessons with him. I noticed early on how David keyed in to my son's particular intelligence, moving as quickly as my son could take it in, giving him just what would spark his interest. My son is now majoring in music composition. In addition to teaching him guitar, David gave him an excellent theory base, and tools for orchestrating, harmonizing, developing themes, etc. But perhaps more important than all that was the way David saw and respected my son, enabling him to see and respect himself. I think David's faith in him has been a large part of my son's development both as a musician and as a person.

Bob knows how to break down instruction into easily manageable pieces of learning. I met with him for a half hour a week, never having played a string instrument, and was playing simple songs after 4 lessons.

David is a very knowledgeable musician and teacher. I have had lessons from him in both music theory and a band setting. As a band leader he is outstanding and has helped me to understand the theory behind improv soloing. In the study of music theory he is a vault of knowledge and has broken things down to the smallest part so that beginners like me can start learning and USING the info in practice. The book he wrote is well laid out and very useful both in organization of theory and tools for practice on saxophone.

Casey has been a fantastic teacher so far. Ive been receiving music composition help for months and I feel that I've greatly improved as a songwriter and that my compositions are getting more and more interesting. Casey doesn't ramble like teachers that I've had in the past and always concentrates on what I want specifically. Love the environment he creates and his assignments. I have no complaints!

I have taken piano lessons from Mizue at various times over the past several years. I took piano lessons as a child and am returning to piano since I retired. Mizue is an outstanding piano teacher, and I would highly and without reservations recommend her to anyone. She is extremely knowledgeable about music, and her gentle, easy-going disposition make it a pleasure to work with her. She is also very skilled at knowing exactly how to impart the information depending on one's individual learning style. She also has a great sense of humor. I look forward to taking lessons again with Mizue in the future.

Heidi has provided music lessons (clarinet, sax, voice, recorder and flute) to my children for the past six years. Heidi is a skilled and versatile musician, and has shared her love of music and technical abilities with my children. She is professional, punctual, and an outstanding music teacher. She has also become a friend to our family! She encourages my children and motivates them in music and in life! She goes above and beyond, challenging them with new pieces and goals. Every year she and my daughter organize a family recital which has become a holiday tradition. I highly recommend Heidi!

I have known Larry since I was about 5 years old, and he has been making music fun ever since with his broad range of musical talents and skills. He really wants everyone to get excited about music and his teaching style is interactive-- so tell him what you are interested in and what you care about and he will create an entire lesson just for you. I highly recommend Larry as a teacher for any age (and practically any instrument, too)!

My 6 year old daughter takes private piano and singing lessons from Katie and we have had the best experience! She is so sweet, kind and patient. Plus extremely talented. My daughter is already playing the piano with 2 hands and singing up a storm. I would highly recommend Katie and actually have already referred her to my other friends!

I have been playing the piano self-taught, and trying to learn jazz. I could not have asked for a better teacher! Aaron was very informative, patient and enthusiastic. I learned some music theory, got some hands on practice to apply them on songs of my choice, and even received some drills to improve my technique.

Reilly Kennon is awesome as a music instructor. He is very good about knowing what I need and accommodating my needs. He doesn’t have a pedological agenda, he is there to help move my capabilities to produce music forward. My efficiency with my software has improved greatly with his help, and he has been good at working on some of the tech breakdowns that crop up. I’m working faster and smarter now, doing things that make arranging easier with less rework. This alone probably has saved me months of work and frustration. He has helped me with composition, and has explained things in ways I understand. For example, I have had a tendency to get into the details and get lost. He introduced the concept of needing to sketch the whole structure of the song and build in the detail afterwards (which as an artist, really made sense). He works hard not to make creative decisions for me. He is viewing my work on-line before our face to face sessions which makes it more productive. He helps me with equipment purchase decisions. He has accommodated my schedule. He is flexible. He is enthusiastic and supportive (even when what I produce is trite and beginner quality). He isn’t afraid to be critical, and it helps me to hear my attempts at music "through his ears." There is a lot we haven’t started to address yet of course, and I haven’t turned into a rockstar overnight (damn!), but I feel like I am making progress with his help. I recommend him.
