- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into house/ pet sitting when I was going back to school and I needed a more flexible schedule so I decided to do something that was in demand and came naturally to me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Some of the most common jobs I do for clients are; feeding, administration of medications, exercising, bathing, cleaning up after and loving the pets as well as running errands, getting the mail, house cleaning, special projects and babysitting.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently pet sat for two dogs that have never been away from the owner overnight and they both cried for their owner. I made sure to give them extra attention and maintain a consistent schedule, like their owner would have, along with regular exercising. Those dogs were happy the whole rest of the time I was there and the owner couldn't thank me enough.
