Introduction: I'm a Juilliard trained professional violinist who has a tenured position at a leading European orchestra. I've been teaching privately for over 6 years and am experienced with students of all ages and levels. I'm passionate, patient, professional and I care deeply about each student's individual growth. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my students enjoy music more and more as they progress. I also offer training in music theory, ensemble playing and other useful music skills.

I have started taking violin lessons with Han Shi and I really enjoy it! I am a 29 year-old man who has never played violin or read a musical note before so I thought it would be super hard for me to learn at this age. I had a class with Han Shi few days ago and now I feel very positive that it is possible! She has a well-structured approach for teaching violin and she makes me really enjoy my experience learning violin and feel confident! I will definitely keep going to my classes and I am positive that I will be able to play my favorite pieces at some point!

Best violin teacher hands down. I haven't touched violin for 20 years and she works magic in helping me re-learn everything. She also accommodates to travel to my place provided transportation cost, which can't be more convenient. She's also bi-lingual which always makes me fee like home. Patient, encouraging, professional, she's everything you look for.
