Introduction: I am a solo practitioner focusing in criminal law who works closely with my clients. I handle all of my clients' work- from start to finish! Clients know that I will not be handing their case off to some other attorney they do not know or an intern. This is a common complaint I hear from a new clients who have been unhappy with attorneys they previously received from a larger law firm. I enjoy resolving a client's case with a reasonable & acceptable plea offer from a prosecutor, but I REALLY enjoy trial work! If a prosecutor declines to make a reasonable and acceptable plea offer and the client wants me to press on with a trial- I enjoy closely working with the client to prepare their case for trial. It is very engaging and an empowering experience for the client. The look of stress visibly lifting from the client's face as we work together is rewarding to me.

Fortunately my case was dismissed and did not go to court.but before I knew that I approached Kimberly and hired her to defend my case.as I said my case never made it to court and I'm sure if it ever did Kimberly would have been the right lawyer to defend it.i met her once only and she was very friendly comforting and caring but yet very professional.so I recommend her to anyone out there looking for a good lawyer!

Kimberly Rendish has been such a relief. She started taking care of me immediately and has been by my side the entire time. She still continues to be an amazing lawyer as my case seems to get even more difficult. Tami Lee

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Members of the Washington State Bar are required to complete 45 approved credit hours every 3 years- 6 credits must be approved for professional ethics credits. I enjoy attending continuing legal education seminars in criminal law so that I can stay current on the changes in the law. Additionally, engaging with other lawyers at these seminars is very useful- I learn A LOT from other lawyers as we discuss what is occurring in other jurisdictions and concerns they may have with particular judges.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    1) Definitely talk to more than one lawyer when you need to hire an attorney! Do not be afraid to ask them how much their service will cost you- legal services are an important investment- you have a right to be well informed. 2) Go to the Washington State Bar Association website and check out any prospective attorney! Click on the link 'For the Public' and then click on the tab where you can search n attorney's name. You will learn how long the attorney has been practicing, the attorney's area of practice and his or her disciplinary history with the State Bar Association. This information is absolutely free and will help warn you about any potential problems you could encounter.
