Above the Stage

Introduction: I chose to retire my retail career when my husband retired from his career. My husband wanted to know what else I would like to do. I thought long and hard before I would tell him. Secretly wanted to be working with people and Karaoke! I have been to so many karaoke venues as a karaoke customer. I shared my desires to my husband and was I surprised! He agreed that I should go for it. Definitely relieved and nervous about changing to a career that I really didn't know how to tackle. Well a long story short... We are owners of Above The Stage Karaoke..self taught and fours years working every week. Now how many of us are lucky enough to do what we love and get to be around people that sing karaoke and be included with special events in their lives too! I am a Karaoke Hostess and have a great team of gals that work side by side with me. We work in teams of at least two in every show. We meet and greet customers as they arrive, new or return customers. We want to acknowledge the customers, make them feel comfortable and have that great karaoke experience! I love everything that I do with karaoke! Interacting with people, listening to some unbelievable singers, challenging the " I don't sing " and wha la we get them up with a little more love and care. The return customers growing and the new friends we've made!
