Introduction: I am the spoiled gardener; high color, high fragrance with low maintenance, I want it all for you! After 30 years as a garden designer and contractor I am now garden designing, consulting and garden training only. "Do not design without putting in the maintenance time". I base my designs on King County Master Gardeners and Plant Amnesty standards. These are universal and time tested for the success of your garden! Within these successful standards your choices of color, favorite plants and maintenance style is my top priority.

We've used Ann's services steadily for 2 years now. I know everyone has their favorites, but I'm not kidding when I say she is AMAZING. First of all, I don't think you will find a better, more knowledgeable team to do GREAT general yard maintenance the proper way. But, the best part for us is that we use Ann for much more than that. Ann is a plant & landscape design expert, so she has created a long term plan to rejuvenate our older yard slowly over time while working within our budget. To help with this, at our request, she spent time teaching us little known techniques the pros use to get the work done quickly and properly. So to save on costs, we do the easy stuff like weeding, mowing and pruning using Ann's techniques. Her crew does the "heavy lifting" like moving plants and shrubs around according to her overall rejuvenation plan. On another note, last year, Ann designed a beautiful dog run area for us that turned out better than we ever imagined. No more brown spots on the lawn or us standing out there in the cold with the dog. That was life-changing. Ann also referred us to a GREAT arborist last summer who trimmed tall hedges and removed unwanted trees at a very reasonable cost. She has great industry contacts. To finally wrap up, before we found Ann, we were unhappy customers of another landscape crew, paying the same amount for them to just pull weeds, mow the lawn and ruin our shrubs by shearing them all into a ball with a hedge trimmer.They knew nothing about plants other than to make the yard look tidy when they drove off every week. There are many crews out there like that. But over the years, that approach destroyed our plants. Though I've already said a lot, I can't possibly say enough about how thankful we are to be working with Ann.

Working with Ann is a pleasure - she is very knowledgeable and has good suggestions. She has taught her helpers to prune and know plants - my little corner of Issaquah is always looking good. Not much ever needs to be better.

Finally, I've found a gardening partner with knowledge, skills and reasonable fees. I have an old garden and want to cut back on maintenance. Ann and her team recently renovated a section of lawn, removed another section of lawn, added gravel paths and a large island bed to extend my woodland garden. The finished result is exactly what I wanted. The team of workers knew what they were doing and did it well. Ann's leadership and inspiration are obvious. I expect to call on this company in the future for pruning, design work and some maintenance/cleanup. They are exceptional!

Ann was first to respond to my request. She was flexible on time schedule for complimentary consultation. Consultation went extremely well. Ann is very knowledgeable and passionate about her business. I learned a lot in that short session! I hired them to trim a fig tree and grape vines, as well as some other garden work. Ann is very prompt in responding and scheduling visits. They are coming next Monday to work on my garden - will update more at that time. Highly recommend to consider services of this company!
