Debora is great to work with. Very professional, yet personable at the same time. We enjoyed our ceremony very much and will honestly refer her to people we know!!Dec 4, 2018
Debora married us a couple years ago and did a wonderful job of creating our vision. She was extremely patient with us as we made multiple changes to our ceremony. She went over-the-top working with us. I have recommended her to others.Oct 27, 2018
We wanted a private ceremony with just a few family members and Debora created that special ambiance for us. She was perfect and professional. We hired her on very short notice and she gave us her all. She's definitely someone we tell all our friends and family about!Oct 26, 2018An Everlasting Affair's reply

Deborah was nice to work with. She helped us find a small place to hold our ceremony wrote the ceremony for us, and showed up with a smile ready to go. Gerry and Gina, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for allowing me the honor! You are two truly amazing people!
Debora was a delight to work with. She followed our lead, asked the right questions and wrote a ceremony that brought me to tears. We had so many wonderful comments from our guests. I would prefer her in a heartbeat.Oct 16, 2018An Everlasting Affair's reply
Thank you for your kind remarks. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you both!! Many happy years!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I became a Wedding Officiant after my daughter realized she could not find anyone in our area that would be willing to marry her and her fiancee without having to be a member of the church. The Justice of the Peace would perform the wedding - in his office. They wanted a small intimate wedding at their home, with all their friends and family in attendance. I enjoy working closely with others and felt this would be a great opportunity to perform a service for others that would have a lasting impact on their lives. Nothing is as sacred as exchanging wedding vows with the one you truly love.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? You should be prepared to pay a fair price for an Officiant's services. They are the only person involved in your ceremony that you cannot get by without. You cannot get married, no matter the venue, no matter the food, no matter the flowers, without your Officiant. Choose one you like, don't choose one based on price. Make sure you hire someone that will listen to what you have to say. An Officiant that will ask you pertinent questions about what you want and how you want your ceremony to be. If your Officiant does not take the time to get to know you on a personal level, how can they perform a personal service such as a meaningful wedding ceremony?
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?A good Wedding Officiant puts in long hours working with a couple to create their perfect wedding ceremony. We meet our couples, ask and answer questions so we can get to know each other. Go through a questionnaire to get a feel for what the couples wishes their ceremony to reflect. Then we sit down and write the ceremony. We will rewrite that ceremony until the couples is happy with the result and feels that it reflects them perfectly. We do not just book a wedding, then show up on that day with a canned ceremony in hand. We write the ceremony, perform the rehearsal and pick up the pieces when that one "thing" goes wrong on the wedding day.
