We have never needed this type of service before (and hopefully never will again), so we do not have much of a basis for evaluating our experienece. However, based on this limited experience we were pleased with Puroclean. After discovering a great deal of water in our stairwell closet, we initially called a plumber who determined that the cause was a leaking roof. He referred us to a mitigation company whom with met with that day. After talking to the rep for 2 hours, I felt worse about the situation than when we discovered the leak. The whole deal felt shady and pushy, and we were given a quote seemingly without any concrete calculation. The whole pitch was focused on maximizing our insurance payments. I searched online for another option but with the clock ticking because we still had pooled water in our home. We set up a meeting with Puroclean the following day, and it was like night and day. We got a quote which showed us item by item what would be charged, and the worst case total was less than half of the first company's best case. Puroclean showed up the next morning and began the clean up which went as well as can be expected. When our adjuster came to inspect later that week, she said everything looked great. I felt like we had made the right choice when, after discovering the extent of damage was more than he had expected, our technician said "Don't worry- this is all manageable." A BIG difference from the doom and gloom overestimator we met with first.
There were some minor adjustments to the total along the way, but they were open and up front about any changes.
I hope we never need their services in the future, but if we do, I would definitely call Puroclean again.
