Janis Flagg with greatest of days was FANTASTIC! Made our once and a lifetime day the best day ever. She helped save us money while making our wedding something we will never forget. Not only did she make our day, but she made it a day I wish I could replay over and over again! My family is very thankful for what she helped us accomplish because we could not have done it without her. Janis is now a lifelong friend of the family and I am so glad to have met her. Thank you Janis for being there for us every step of the way!Apr 23, 2014
Janis was key in helping keep me sane in planning and preparing for my wedding. Her knowledge, connections and sanity kept me on track. She is very pleasant, very helpful and I would love to work with her again in the future.Apr 21, 2014

Janis is great at communicating with you when planning your event. She keeps in touch on a daily basis with all the details you need to know. She helped plan our Annual Dinner Auction for a few years and she is a great asset!Apr 21, 2014
Janis was a great help to my daughter and I. As a single parent planning a rite of passage event for my teenage daughter (Bat Mitzvah), she was fabulous help. She worked with me and was great in being sensitive to the triple constraints of planning our event (cost, schedule, and scope). By design, her role was to allow me the freedom on the day of the event to enjoy the my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. More than that she worked with me and provided great insights on many of the details needed ranging from reception center pieces to banners to working with the caterer (now is my time to plug Cele's Meals). I was glad to have someone who was able to bring their perspective, think outside the typical box/ problem solve,, willingness to listen and learn, and not do a "typical" Bat Mitzvah.Apr 21, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Planning events have more variable pricing because their complexity varies widely. Officiating averages around $250-$300 and a rehearsal is always a complimentary benefit in a client's officiating package which is valued at $150.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Everything begins with a complimentary consultation which is very informative for everyone. For officiating, we go from there to drafting a ceremony and exchanging several emails for a draft of a ceremony. For other events, the only thing similar is the complimentary consultation. Every event is different in scope, size and purpose.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Webinars, seminars, attending conferences, workshops and networking to see how we can improve our services and keep up with the industry that we love being in. Sometimes we will form mastermind groups and other times we seek out coaches to help us continually improve our work or find ways to simplify our work to make more time to serve our clients.
