Introduction: I recieved my certification as a vet assistant from Pima Medical Institute in 2008. Following, I worked at a clinic for 5 years which gave me the experience in handling dogs and cats with different temperaments. I also have experience in administering medications including subcutaneous fluids and injections. I offer nail trims, ear cleaning, and expressing glands. I have been dog walking and pet sitting for the last 2 years. I love seeing how content and happy the dogs are after a long trail walk down to Lake Washington. Being able to take care of the animals and their needs. As well as getting them outdoors and exercising. The bond and relationships that are created give me the blessing of having more than one animal in my life. Not to mention the puppy kisses are a major plus!!!

Cassie has cared for our golden retriever both as a puppy and as an adult dog when we were away. Not only does she take excellent care of her but I feel so much better leaving her with someone with a clinical background in veterinary medicine so if anything were to happen she would know exactly how to handle it. I highly recommend Cassie and her services to other pet owners.

Cassie started walking my dog every day while I'm at work a couple of weeks ago. She's been very reliable and conscientious, and understands dog behavior, so I'm confident my dog is getting a great walk while I'm not there to take her out.

Cassie was very patient with us... Dealing with our schedule changes and tooking care of my roommates dog at short notice...while taken care of our dog...she made sure to text when she was done after each visit...even sending pictures of our "Zoey"...Cassie is very caring and reliably ...we will be using her again when we need dog care

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my Vet Assistant certificate from Pima Medical Institute in 2008. For the following 5 years I worked in a Vet Clinic where I got hands on training.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been passionate about animals and helping to improve their lives. I used to work as a Vet Assistant. My circumstances changed and I didn't want to give up working with animals. Dog walking allows me to still be able to help animals without having to work for an Animal Hospital or Clinic.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Dog walking, pet sitting, toe nail trims, baths, ears cleanings, etc.
