I have been a student of Michael's for about 7 years now, and I can say without a doubt that so far it has been the best learning experience of my life. In this time I have grown much faster than I had with my previous teachers; instead of just learning how to press keys, I have learned how to develop chords on my own, that even eventually lead into songs. Michael's methods of teaching are not found in your average piano instructor. Instead of memorizing songs, he teaches you to analyze the song, to put your own spin on it. Michael has taught me that there are no bad mistakes in music, only new ideas. From Jazz to Rock, there is limitless fun to music, and with a great teacher like Michael, you will go far.

Neal has been a teacher and a mentor to my son, Ethan since the 1st grade...now my son attends college at University of San Francisco and still derives pure pleasure in playing his guitar, thanks in much part to Neal's positive influence! Neal is an exception musician and shares his passion with his students. My son started with Neal at a young age and took lessons weekly with Neal until he graduated high school. It's the one "scheduled activity" we could never take away from him because he enjoyed it so much. It's hard to verbalize what a positive impact Neal made in my son's musical development growing up, along with just the terrific role model and friend he is to Ethan. Neal has coached Ethan through numerous Variety shows, Battle of the Bands, small local gigs, school performances and the very prestigious So Cal Honors Jazz band! Neal is the best - and very versatile. He teacher because he loves it.

I hired Lex to play at my indie film premier a couple of years ago. He arrived early, brought a quality drummer and a stand-up base player. The group classed up the place. They played some high-energy jazz and also a few familiar rock tunes. The crowd was lively and his band was up to the task of maximizing and adding to the experience. As it was time to encourage the crowd to make their way out, the band slowed down the music which assisted in the "closing time" process. It was a great time and it added a level of professionalism and joviality to my event. I definitely recommend Lex as he was a true pleasure to work with.

The Rafael Tranquilino Band is one of the most versatile and exciting bands I have ever seen. Rafael's guitar work is inspired and he never ceases to blow me away! He also never plays a song the same way twice. You just never know what he's going to do. He is my favorite guitarist! Leah Tussing's vocals are this very cool combination of jazzy blues that brings a completely new vibe to every song she sings. Love her! They are a dynamic duo with some of the most talented rhythm sections in the PNW. I never miss seeing them when they are in Tacoma.

I use Ian for our monthly music and all of our Wine Club releases as well. He is always professional, easy to work with, and always demanded by our guests to come back. If you are looking for the perfect sound, from a dependable musician, look no further. I highly recommend Ian (and his band if you have the space for it) for any event. He can rock any room, and he can also serenade any audience as well. He also brings an audience with him, and his sound draws in anybody within range. And unlike a lot in his profession; he is dependable and always incredibly easy to work with. Thank you Ian!

RL is a phenomenal instructor. Besides his ability to shred, he is a master in music theory and can convey his knowledge in a very understandable way. He is well versed in all the genres, from jazz to rock and everything in between. He has had a huge impact on my playing. My lessons with RL are the most rewarding part of my week. Go Seahawks!

We hired Ryan and his band to play for our wedding. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We asked him to play specific songs, and he wrote out music for the whole group and they performed it perfectly! He made our magical evening truly one to remember. Would highly recommend Ryan and his band for weddings, corporate event entertainment, background music, and anything in between.

They did the best classics, and new stuff too, it was so fun! So nice to have a real live band and not a DJ. We were getting compliments on the band all night. Such a great time! Thanks Highsteppers, you rock.

I came across the Aqua-Nets at a charity event where they were playing 80's music. I had been debating having a 50th birthday party and having thoroughly enjoyed my evening, I booked the band for my party. The band manager made the planning very easy. The band were professional and really created a great atmosphere for my party. All my guests had a great time and mentioned how they hadn't danced in years. I would highly recommend the Aqua-Nets for your event. The performers will entertain your guests and I have no doubt they will make your event a complete success.

I am super excited and really enjoying my lessons with Matthew. He gets to play with certified rockstars and when he's not performing -I can actually get lessons with him. He has music lessons very streamlined and breaks down things into smaller bite sized pieces I can absorb one piece at time & at my own pace. I love it. Lets Rock Out. I've heard that they call him "The Music Whisperer", I can see why. Thanks Matt -

I hired Detour Band for a private party in Everett! They had a lot of energy and I loved how the songs were mixed together. They did a great job at playing music in between their sets and had awesome lighting! I was very satisfied and would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to everyone!! I loved how the singer got out and danced with the crowd in between her sets.. So much energy!! I love Detour!!

I guess that would depend on which service we're referring to here; as far as karaoke goes I feel that it's because I add to the performance of the singer by playing assorted instruments, backing vocals, and an above average mix. These things combine to create a much more authentic feel for a singer. As far as instruction, I use a much more informal and flexible style that I feel is less rigid for a new student and allows for more creativity and enhanced advancement.
