Paul and Stephanie were a pleasure to work with. Planning our wedding was difficult (we live in Montana), but Stephanie was a huge help throughout the planning process as well as during our wedding. The food itself was wonderful, and the cake far exceeded my expectations. There's nothing else we could have asked for for our wedding. Thank you to the whole team!

Nola and her staff did such a fantastic job catering our wedding. From helping us plan to menu, providing a delicious tasting, answering questions about logistics and dietary restrictions, and providing stellar food and customer service to the day of the wedding, Nola and her team went above and beyond to make our day special. Our main entrée was fig balsamic glazed wild BBQ salmon with mango kiwi salsa. I wish I could make something this delicious myself, because it was amazing. Our salad consisted of organic mixed greens with julienned apple, shaved fennel, herbed crouton, and a really light but creamy bleu cheese dressing. They even made a separate salad with a different dressing for our dairy-free guests. The guest (and groom’s) favorite was our side: Beecher’s mac and cheese. So good! It was very stormy the day of our wedding, and a lot of things went wrong for us. Nola and her team went beyond the call of duty and helped out where they shouldn’t have needed to. They kept an incredibly positive attitude the entire time, conversed with guests, and helped reassure an incredibly stressed-out bride. The only complaint I heard from any guests was the portion-control at the buffet, but with a buffet we personally feel that was probably necessary. I had been concerned that people would take more than their fair share and leave guests at the end of the line with no food, and I’m sure that was the whole reason for starting out with smaller portions. I also heard that guests were invited to come back for seconds once everybody had been served, so I’m sure everyone got enough food. Overall, we were more than satisfied with Nola, her team, and the food. The food was everything we had hoped for, and the service was outstanding. We recommend them to anybody planning a wedding or other event.

Britta was beyond wonderful! We had a really hard venue to work with, with non responsive staff, making it VERY hard to plan. Britta went above and beyond with meeting us and helping us get everything worked out. She was always in touch and quick to respond to any emails or calls. The day of was even better! She made sure every vendor was doing what they were supposed to, she managed the entire day, and kept us both fully informed of anything important happening that we needed to know about. I've referred her to a friend, and I would refer her to a thousand more! Hiring a wedding planner was never part of my plan, but when I ran into issues and wanted help, she was there and jumped right in. I'm so glad my plans changed and I got to met and hire her! Best wedding decision we made!

We worked with Shelby for almost a whole year to plan our wedding. We were out of state for most of the time, but she was great with using Skype and keeping a timeline of tasks. We would have regular meetings to go over ideas or plans, but she was always available and answered in a timely manner if we had a question outside of our meetings. The most important aspect is that she really listened to what we wanted and the day turned out better than I could have imagined! Shelby made the whole process stress free and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of. I would highly recommend her for any party/wedding planning or decorating/designing needs.

Cake and Lace is amazing! With me trying to juggle working 12hr work days and weekends while at the same time searching for our next home. Thinking about planning a wedding was getting overwhelming. I never thought about getting a wedding planner and honestly I thought it would be a waste but our wedding planner Reneille Velez took so much stress away and gave me the time I needed to focus on other things. She Is so organized and stuck with us through our whole process on finding our perfect venue. Her communication skills and quick response to our text, calls and question is what I needed. I would recommend Reneille Velez and all Cake and Lace wedding planners to everyone who just needs a little clarity and peace of mind while planning their dream wedding.

My wedding was on May 6th , 2017 and I had to write a review 3 days later because Kari is so amazing!! I found Kari (my I-Do) on thumbtack and basically told her that “we would like to get married in 7 weeks and we have no venue or really any idea on what we want!” She was up for it! The hardest part was that I was not living in Washington until the week of our wedding so we did everything via phone and email. Her communication from the very beginning was so impressive and she had so much experience and was so organized that it was impossible to not trust her completely. She did visit two venues with us (I made it up to WA for the venue views) and she asked all of the questions and took notes and did her thing. We ended up picking Willows Lodge for our venue and had an outdoor ceremony for 40 people. Kari literally did all of the planning for us. I gave her a few pictures of what I liked for flowers, bouquets, overall look and of course, she put together exactly what I wanted and did all of my centerpieces, decorating, everything! Our wedding was absolutely stunning because of Kari. She helped us find the photographer, the officiate, flowers, rental company for centerpieces (which she did all on her own), our quartet, and planned our rehearsal dinner. I just couldn’t have planned a wedding while trying to move out of state and working full time and Kari made my dream wedding happen without making me stress and worry. I was the calmest bride on my wedding day because I knew that Kari would make it perfect…and she did. Thank you Kari for being an amazing wedding planner but also a good person. You are kind, real, generous, and extremely knowledgeable. I enjoyed every minute working with you. Thank you for not only planning our wedding but being a part of it. Cassie

Working with Dana was a pleasure from start to finish. She helped my husband and I plan the "details" part of our wedding (primarily reception, but as the ceremony and reception were in the same place, she also had a hand in the ceremony decor). She was easy to work with and has excellent ideas about what will actually work during an event. Admittedly, I'm not great at turning a "vision" into a finished project for these sorts of things. However, I was able to tell Dana a look that I thought I was going for and a "feeling" that I wanted the room and event to have and she was able to turn it into reality. The amount of mind-reading wizardry that this requires is something I can only hope to one day possess (and really, I never will, but at least I know who to call when I need a hit of it). Dana was very responsive by both email and phone, and was able to gently lead me away from bad ideas without making me feel silly. She's also just a delightful person to be around, and always willing to lend an ear if you think you might be on the verge a mental breakdown. On the day of the event, she was there from start to finish and worked her tail off making sure that everything happened. I had let her know that by the time I was in my dress, I really didn't want to know what, if anything, wasn't going exactly as planned - just do whatever she thinks is best to remedy it. As far as I know, she did just that, because I didn't have to deal with any last minute issues and everything turned out better than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend using Dana for any of your event planning needs and won't hesitate to do so again should the occasion call for it!

Fitsum has helped me tremendously with my wedding planning. Our wedding is not until May, but I felt the need to give her awesome reviews because she is just great at what she does and I wouldn't know what we would do without her. My fiancé and I have never planned a wedding before, so we have no idea what we needed to do. We thought that since we are having a destination wedding then it will be easier to plan everything, but we were wrong. There was so much stuff we didn't know and Fitsum has helped us tremendously even with a short time frame of 6 months. She helped us plan our at home reception and we can just focus in our destination wedding. She is easy to contact and easy to work with. She always respond to my emails and questions within a day, not only that she gave us great recommendations and tips. She also helped us pick out and reach out to our venues. She definitely has help relieve a lot of stress prior to our wedding and I couldn't have ask for a better wedding planner. We highly recommend her to anyone that we know!

Kyro is an amazing wedding planner and I highly recommend her!!!! My fiancé and I had originally planned our wedding ceremony, a year in advanced in Puerto Rico on 12nov17, but due to hurricane Maria, we decided to cancel the Wedding and move it to my hometown in Tacoma Washington. That left us about a month to plan a whole new wedding in a different area. I found kyro on thumbtack and she is amazing! Not only did we have to plan a wedding in a month, she helped my coordinate everything via email while I am stationed in italy ( active duty Air Force). The very first time I met her and talked to her was at my rehearsal, the day before the Wedding and everything fell in place well before I arrived on 8 nov 17. She made all the planning so personal, very responsive via emails and kept me updated with everything she was working on. She gave her opinion on things that were very helpful and kept things running very smoothly esp with coordinating with vendors. She is very personable, attentive, professional and friendly. Best coordinator I’ve worked with and will give you an amazing day!!

Katy the owner of Seattle Stunning Events is absolutely amazing to work! We hired her in January for our day of wedding coordination in September to manage all of the setup / tear down and vendor details, but she did so much more beyond just the day of service. She met with us for our site visit, helped create the layout for the reception venue, let us use some of her decor and was always available for any questions or recommendations that I needed, and always had a smile on her face! I come from planning corporate events and worked for a award winning Destination Management Company in Florida dealing with hundreds of vendors, and I have to say Katy is among the top people I've ever worked with. I highly recommend her to any brides who are looking for someone to help with their wedding planning and coordination or just day of coordination. You will be in great hands with Katy!

Elizabeth was able to assist with my wedding as a planner and day of coordinator, from start to finish. She helped make sure everything ran smoothly, communicated with all my vendors in an organized fashion, and met with the venue coordinator the day before to run through our ceremony timeline. As a result, everything was set up exactly as I envisioned (even better than I imagined) on our wedding, and it was amazing how much work behind the scenes she put into making every detail perfect. She was professional with all the vendors, and helped to keep me calm during my big day! Most importantly, she would ask my opinions on set-up, how or when I wanted certain events to take place, and she tailored my wedding to fit my personality and style. Cassie is the queen of wedding coordinating. Because of Cassie and her expertise, the process of planning our daughter's wedding was stress free from beginning to end. Cassie provided service far beyond what we expected from a "day of" coordinator. She may be the most organized person on earth. We received timely e-mails providing monthly and weekly timelines, ideas, options. Cassie thought of everything! Some days we exchanged ten e-mails/texts. Once we had our vendor contracts, we passed them on to Cassie for managing. I never had to contact a vendor again. She made three venue visits with us and conducted the ceremony rehearsal. She coordinated absolutely every detail of the wedding day. Friends and family members remarked at how relaxed we seemed during the months of wedding planning -- again, thanks to Cassie. Her professional, no-nonsense approach kept us on track and prepared us to host the biggest party of our lives. On the wedding day Cassie brought two helpers, and they all spent at least eight hours working the event. When I arrived at the venue that morning, I asked Cassie what I can do to help. She responded with something like, "Nothing. Enjoy the day." :-) I truly don't know how families pull off something as important as a wedding without the services of a skilled coordinator. Of all the decisions to be made in the wedding planning process, our absolutely best decision was hiring Cassie!

    My wife and I hired SL Soirees as our wedding planner and 'day of' coordinator. We were not disappointed. When planning a wedding things get stressful and challenging with all the vendors and so on. SL Soirees greatly helped us through this process and really took a huge burden off of us, which made the big day that much more enjoyable. If you are looking for a planner who will be reasonable, go to bat for you, help you enjoy the moment with less stress, and flat out be honest, then SL Soirees is a great option!

    Marie did an excellent job planning and coordinating our wedding. Its been about two months since we got married we're still getting compliments on how fun, smooth and SEAMLESS our wedding was. Everyone kept saying our wedding was one of the best and beautiful they've been too and I give Marie a lot of credit for this. I hired Marie as our planner as well and she will go above and beyond to meet your needs. She helped me with our overall theme of the wedding from decorations, invitations, to the timeline. I seriously have nothing bad to say because she met all of my expectations. If I didn't have her during the day of, I probably would have been a major bridezilla.
