Crown Finish has installed kitchen cabinets in our house and done a superb job, overseeing the work from start to finish. Jon is very thorough and detail oriented. He also painted our house, built a fence and a railing around our front porch. All work done professionally, on time and keeps all parties advised of progress.

Jon came in a helped me (a do-it-yourselfer) finish off a room that I didn't have the skills or equipment to do right. Jon's willingness to work with the client's situation made him a perfect fit for us. Jon has high integrity and is a pleasure to work with.

We have contracted Crown Finish Construction for a variety of projects. They included renovation of laundry room, powder room, electrical work, fencing, and floor tile. The working relation between home owner and contractor has been excellent. We have worked with CFC for a number of years off and on. The work is professional and he is punctual, and trustworthy which gives me the freedom to schedule my appointments while the work is being done.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I work inside mostly: base, door, window trim, door and window replacement, kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, tile, hardwood/engineered/laminate flooring, crown and other wainscoting, fireplace mantles and interior paint. I recently removed a wall for a customer so he could join the kitchen and family room for one long table for Thanksgiving. I can repair sheetrock walls Some of my work is performed outside: house and trim paint, decks and railing, new and repair fences and gates

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always get your contract in writing. Verbal committments are good but don't always work out in the end. Make sure you know what is included (and not included) in the price before work starts. Never pay 100% of the work until it's complete. Contractors should only ask for enough to get started. Don't make the final payment until you are completely satisfied with the project. Once you make the final payment, you have no more leverage. Ask for references and contact them. Make sure you are specific with questions regarding experience and services. The service rendered for the reference should match the service you are requesting.
