FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started as a youngster working on my dad's rental houses. We fixed a lot of plumbing, porches, Sheetrock, flooring and painting pretty much my dad did it all and so did his kids. I was managing retail stores when I decided to build an addition on our home. I went to the library and studied books on foundations until I could build one and then I did it. The same process through framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, drywall etc. When I was finished people would say " Wow, you built this! You should be a contractor".

- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I installed a lot of tile in a small mobile home. The customer wanted a toilet in his shower. I don't judge. This is a code no no, but mobile homes follow a different set of rules. I called the inspector and we talked through the project and he gave his go ahead. Fully tiled floor, wall and ceiling with a toilet in his shower done. Almost forgot there was a window in there that was tiled too.
