Introduction: Our music uniquely blends native music genres of the Caribbean with Pop Culture music of the United States. Our music is rooted in 100%, authentic soca, calypso, and reggae representative of Trinidad & Tobago and other Caribbean islands, and our steel pan instruments are all hand-crafted instruments from the birth place of steel pan - Trinidad & Tobago - as well. First and foremost, we enjoy the opportunity to humbly share our culture, passion, and excitement for the art form as a global ambassodor of the steel pan instrument and music of the Caribbean. It is equally rewarding for us to to share unique life moments along side our clients as we provide the "soundtrack" of the event that we are performing at.

Obe recently did a set for our corporate open house. The music was fun and light and provided the perfect background ambiance for our event. Obe was professional and fun and chose the perfect music with almost no direction from us. He received numerous compliments for our guests, and we even had passerbys on the street stopping below our deck to listen to the music. I absolutely recommend hiring Obe for your business event, party, or any kind of event with a happy, fun atmosphere.

Trust me you want this Guy for your Social Events!! So glad the Hula Girls cancelled out, I'm most confident they couldn't match up to his entertainment...and I've seen plenty of fantastic Hula/Polynesian dancing. Hire this Guy!!! You won't regret it. I'm just ever so grateful he was available for my husband's big Harvey Five Oh Party. It was a HiT!!!

BA in music MM in music performance. performance and teaching experience in The United States, St. Lucia, and Trinidad & Tobago
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was exposed to the music industry through my father whom is also a musician and native of Trinidad & Tobago. He started the Islanders Steel Drum Band in Tacoma in 1989 which I got to see from the gound up and be a part of at the age of 12. SInce then I continued to grow as a musician through my middle school and high school music program and my university studies in music.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding ceremonies and/or wedding cocktail hours - Stage performances at community festivals/ events - Private Parties (home or business) - Holiday parties - Educaitonal Workshops at Schools - Parades
