Latest Review: My husband and I both started piano lessons (beginner level) with Tim about six months ago. We had previously worked with another teacher who was a good pianist, but not a trained teacher. The difference is impressive. Tim is friendly, supportive, and encouraging, He has taught us how to practice, not just what to practice. He is an excellent coach, paying attention to details (that really make a difference), instead of accepting pieces that are generally okay. Although we aren't natural musicians, we are making steady progress, and having fun doing it.

Latest Review: My daughter has taken lessons with Linda for 6 years, and I'm very pleased with her progress. Linda is patient and makes piano lessons fun. My daughter is now 13 and plays for our church regularly, and I'm certain she will continue to enjoy the piano for years to come. I have found Linda's pricing to be more than fair. You'll be lucky to have her!

Latest Review: All the above. I love the way Janina approached my 3 year old granddaughter on her first day. She was very professional and made my g/daughter feel comfortable when we met her on the first day. I would recommend Janina's piano lessons to all children of different backgrounds who are interested in learning to play the piano. She was awesome and very patient.

Latest Review: We just started our daughter's lessons but Cayce is a well organized and professional who loves her craft. She has been very helpful in answering our questions and determining our short and long-term goals. Her website is very well done and a great aid in tracking our daughter's progress, lessons, and for communication.

About: I am a composer, performer, and instructor. In this field I take my music very seriously and love to share it with students of all ages. As a classically trained composer I often write pieces for my students, both to perform as well as exercises for mastering their instrument.

Latest Review: Tara Tinsley is extremely talented! She also has the upmost patience while teaching. I am a beginner at the guitar, and if there was a word to describe "less a than beginner," that would be me. She went at my own pace because obviously I am very slow to switch between chords. I have taken a couple lessons so far and as long as I practice what she teaches at home I know I will be able to play songs in no time. I would recommend her to anybody for guitar lessons. Her office is in a great, historic building in downtown Tacoma. It is a professional office building with free street parking close by (which is almost impossible to find downtown). The lobby has seating for students and/or parents to wait. For parents that don't want to wait inside, there is a coffee and wine bar a block away! If anyone is skeptical she has music on YouTube and Spotify. Check it out and I know you will be convinced to learn from her!
