- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge monthly for lessons: $125/mo for 1/2 hour lessons, $200/mo for hour lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting a new client I ask about their previous experience and future goals and assess their current abilities. We then discuss what steps are necessary to move towards the client's goals. I try to leave the client with at least one thing that they can take home and play to get started, whether that be a simple melody, a full song, or just a finger exercise to begin developing coordination.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied jazz piano performance at the University of Washington from 1992 - 1996. I have played thousands of professional gigs in a wide range of styles over the last two decades.
