I had a variety of household and construction items to dispose of. John responded quickly and communicated clearly. He was courteous and professional on site. I would hire him again and I recommend that you do to.

Karl was awesome!! I can't say enough good things. He was punctual, provided and in-person estimate the same day as my request, worked really quickly and was so nice. He also didn't charge any extras beyond labor and disposal receipts, which many of my original quotes included. Definitely hire Karl!

Jarrod helped me with a shower door that had become loose from it's U-Channel. He was able to get the work done in the evening and within one day which was great. He was very responsive over the messaging on Thumbtack. I would have him back to my house if a project came up for him again.

My recommendation for Corey is unconditional. He began his first project with us in March of this year when when a friend recommended that he would be good help since I needed to get everything off of two decks in preparation for resurfacing. There were big old terracotta pots full of hard packed soil and the upper deck was up 3 stories. Corey figured out how to do this efficiently and kept up a brisk pace. Once the decks were finished he carried the new pots and all of the soil and new plants back up. Corey was careful to check in with me on coordination so that he could be back as soon as the deck was ready. Our next project was cleaning out the side yard including an old fence, construction debris from the project next door and overgrown plantings and material to go to hazardous waste dump. Corey was quick and organized, set up a system for sorting and brought a helper and huge truck to dispose of the stuff. Over the years I have tried to clean up this area but the project seemed overwhelming and no one knew how to attack it. Our house on Queen Anne Hill is 100 years old and there is always something that needs to be done. Corey has a key and I keep a list so he stops by when needed and takes care of things. A special recommendation for Corey is that my dog loves him and she is a very good judge of character.

Jae was responsive to my request and accommodating when I discovered that the sellers of our house left much more junk than I thought, and contacted him to let him know. Unfortunately, even though Thumbtack sent me a confirming email the morning of the job with the appointment time, (and I would be surprised if they don't send a similar one to the service providers) there was no sign of Jae. When I reached out he said he thought we were scheduled for five p.m., and managed to get to our place mid-afternoon. It cost way more than I thought it would, but I wound up with more and weightier stuff than I initially thought, so I guess that is to be expected. Once arrived Jae and his helper worked swiftly to load the truck. One observation is that on the bid side of the process Jae has a graphic showing a tall enclosed truck and how much it costs based on how much of the truck you fill up. The actual truck is open and shallow. While the graphic may only be illustrative, it seemed to convey an inaccurate impression compared to the real thing. My best advice is to have a good sense of the volume of what you are disposing of and don't be too attached to quotes until the hauler actually gets there. Would hire again. P.S. Word to the wise, if you have the good fortune to be buying a home, make sure you write into the contract that the sellers get all of their junk out prior to close. That little error on my part was a several hundred dollar learning experience, lol!

I had hired Ronald to assemble a platform bed with headboard. He came, set out the pieces nicely, worked quietly and finished the job without any fuss. The job was well done. Ronald was polite and even offered to dispose off the packing material. I would hire him again if I had a job.

I hired Sam to tear down and dispose of a structure on our property, and to dispose of a few cubic yards of yard waste. Sam is perhaps the BEST communicator I have ever met in a sub-contractor. I found him to be punctual, easy to work with, honest, and fairly priced. He did a good job, and did it exactly when he said he would. Reliable, honest, and reasonable is five stars, in my book.

A great job done! It took about 5 minutes. I’m not handy, so I had no clue what was wrong with my garbage disposal. I didn’t have cash, so he followed me to the ATM near by. Definitely recommended!

My garbage disposal started acting up which was causing my dishwasher to be inefficient. I needed someone to come and fix it fast! Daryl was quick to respond, did a great job, and had incredibly reasonable prices. I will definitely keep him in mind for future projects.

Polo and his team did an excellent job of pruning, weeding, and mowing my front, side, and back yard. Most of the shrubs were very tall and overgrown. The price was extremely reasonable which included removal and disposal, so I happily added a much deserved tip. The team is polite and friendly.

Joe and his crew did a great job hauling construction and yard waste from a fence job I did. They saved me almost 50% compared to other waste disposal services and sought innovative ways to save through recycling green waste. Great customer service. They even worked through rain in order to get the job done on schedule.

I was moving and needed to dispose of a piece of exercise equipment, quickly. Rubbish works arranged to come by the next day. The driver was on time, and alone. I was nervous that he would not be able to handle the task solo. No problem. The machine was gone within 5 minutes and all worked out great. Thank you Rubbish Works.

Contacted Koester Building Company for my mom to have him replace a garbage disposal, install a counter and kitchen sink and some kitchen cabinets. Quality of work was excellent. Even provided estimates for other jobs that my mom needed done. Very polite and well mannered.

I received several bids to have a piano removed from our home. After hearing what the item was, 2 of the other companies quadrupled their quote while PNW Crawls and Hauling put in calls to several charitable organizations to see if our piano could be re-used versus disposed of. They worked with me to find a time convenient for me within 2 days of my call to pick up my piano and said they would bring a tax receipt back to my home if they were able to find an organization that would take the piano. Not only that but the final price was $20 less than their very fair quote. They were punctual, professional and trustworthy. Their primary business is actually cleaning crawl spaces which they were kind enough to give me pointers on should my husband be inclined to check our crawl spaces himself. I would highly recommend this company.

Rob and his crew from Dogwood Construction did a great job for us with the living / dining room expansion. They were very dependable and receptive to our needs and went out of their way to keep the area clean by removing any debris and even some stuff that we needed to dispose of. The project has taken longer than expected, but that's par with having to cope with suppliers, inspector's, sub-contractors and some un-anticipated "owner" changes or improvements. We are already talking with Rob about another project.
