Great job! I am a contractor also. These guys are experts. I have a lot of very tricky branches surrounding electrical wires, fence lines and gas lines. They cleaned up afterwards and everything. Very professional. Like they weren't even here. Besides the tree limb removal. Thanks again! Highly recommend!

I hired R&R hardscapes to build a complex deck with a roof and finished underneath of the deck equipped with lighting and electrical outlets. When I approached Ricardo, owner of R&R and let him know what my idea was he gave me great advise on what materials to use to fit into my budget. One of my biggest challenges in living in the northwest with a deck was having to replace deck boards all the time, even when treated. Ricardo told me about brazillian hard woods and the benefits of this product. Mind you that I was trying to find the right contractor foe this deck for 2 years and out of the 10 contractors I spoke with not a single one told me about brazillian iron woods, probably because of how expensive the product was and how much time it takes to install. These hardwoods last 75+ years. Ricardo was able to come up with a plan for my dream to have this extension added to my house and fit it into my budget. Most contractors didn't want to touch the project because of how complex it was. Ricardo has a real sense for what I wanted to create for my family so that I can enjoy it in all seasons. His first thing was safety. I didn't want a bunch of cross boards hindering my view both on the top of the deck and under the deck. He poored nearly 2000 pounds of concrete under each support pole and doubled the size of the footings to make it super stable, enough to put 2 elephants on my 350 square foot deck. Let me tell you that my deck is the talk of the neighborhood. Everyone wants to come over and hang out. Another thing a really appreciate about Ricardo is he always picks up the phone to talk to you when you have questions and I had a lot of questions. He did such a great job on my deck that I contracted him to do my pavers under the deck and souronding areas and my fence. Check out the pictures.

Working with Rodger was great. I appreciate his willingness to take on small projects with me as I need contractors/handymen off and on around my property. In addition to being cost-competitive, he was very thorough, demonstrated by; initial bid, onsite validation of bid, responsive start/completion of project, and quality work. I’ll hire this company in the future for sure.

Cully was great, he fixed my sprinkler system and did additional landscaping work to plant/relocate some Thuja Emerald Greens. He was prompt, professional, and just super easy to work with. I definitely recommend him and will certainly ask him if I need more work done in the future.

I had an excellent experience working with Gil and his team. He was professional, made great recommendations, connected us with an experienced designer, walked us through every step of our landscaping project and provided fair and detailed pricing. He brought a wealth of knowledge about plants and materials and his team was always on time and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend PLG Construction and plan to hire them again in the future.

My project was quite large consisting of resurfacing a garage roof deck with new railing and steps, removing concrete pathways and replacing with bluestone pavers, designing front porch steps, designing a potting and garden shed, designing a "condo" to camouflage all my garbage and recycling cans, installing an irrigation system, lighting, 2 water features with one also being a water garden, designing and planting garden containers, laying new sod, picking and planting new plant material and relocating and replanting some of my existing plants. I needed a professional landscaper who would walk me through all the design aspects and recommend a hardscape specialist, and ensure all the work being done would be done properly for a quality result. My meeting with Robin Parsons began with a consultation at my house. She made suggestions for plants and design, and after that initial meeting, I knew I had the right designer and didn't bother researching other landscapers. At first I had a bit of "sticker shock" when I began to price out the scope of work for what I wanted done. She helped me understand what each element costs and I had to decide what was important and rethink my budget. And in the end she helped me make the right choices. She listened to all my needs and communicated clearly to what needed to be done, paid close attention to all the details, she came with pictures, ideas and recommendations, and even drove me to retailers specializing in sheds, concrete, and garden containers to help me decide on products. My project is almost completed, and I can already see how beautiful and welcoming my landscape turned out to be. Robin exceeded all my expectations, is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to continually working with her on my future projects of choosing a house color, shutters, and designing my garage driveway.

Polo helped us install new sod, cut Branches from a huge pine tree to bring in more light, plant a bunch of plants and trees, and install landscaping pavers. It was a complete redo. Working with Polo was great. He has an excellent attitude, is very patient and helpful, and is very reasonable on pricing. Looking forward to doing more projects with his team.

Robert & Julie, I can’t express my gratitude enough to both of you for the excellent work you did for my mother! I was lucky to have found you through Thumbtack. You responded to my request within a couple hours and met me and my mother the very next day. You walked in to an awful situation…a total mess, due to a bad, inexcusable, sloppy delivery job from Sears. Their laziness caused severe water damage from the new refrigerator my mother purchased, as they did not put on the new water hose (which my mother paid for) and left the old one on, which split open and caused a leak. My mother (who is 71 years old) and I were getting nowhere with Sears. They didn’t want to take responsibility. We didn’t know how to proceed. You went way above and beyond your job as a contractor. You told us about the laws in Washington State and that Sears and their delivery contractors are 100% liable. You said you would make all the calls and that she wouldn’t have to pay a dime. You called all the right people (which took hours and hours of your time) and got the ball rolling! You were able to get her home owner’s insurance to step in right away and pay for the damages upfront so you could begin working right away, so that my mom could use her kitchen, hallway, and bedroom again. You were able to get her home owner’s insurance to go after Sears/delivery Contractor Company! You also did many, many other things for us. You noticed little things here and there that needed to be fixed in her house and didn’t charge her for fixing them. Nobody else would do this. One of the many things you did that goes way above and beyond is that you saw what a hassle it was for mom to get in and out of her house, due to the doors and screen doors having 3 separate keys!!! Julie—thank you for going and making her one key that fits all of the doors!! You also dealt with Home Depot for us, for damaged doors they put in and the damage they caused installing them. You again made all the calls (which took hours of phone time again) and were able to get the store manager and supervisor out to mom’s house. You got her half her money back and got the OK to fix it properly and repair the damage! You certainly didn’t have to do this. But I know you did it because you heard what a nightmare it had caused my mother and that they were not being fair to her. Thank you for the fantastic work you did fixing my mother’s house, Robert! Thank you, Julie, for all of your help, sitting with my mom and being her friend, and helping out Robert every step of the way. You both are very compassionate, honest, hard-working, and all-around awesome! You took the stress off my mom by taking care of everything. EVERYTHING!! As you know, this is just a short summary of what you did for us. We know that you are way more than a contractor. You both are beautiful people with big hearts. I’ll be forever grateful to you. I don't normally take the time to write a review, but in this case, my experience with Patrick at Glacier Peak was so exceptional I wanted to pass along the reference. Patrick is a highly skilled concrete contractor who is reliable, hard working and honest. I hired him for my 4-stall driveway paving and he did not disappoint. His quality work speaks for itself and I found his bid to be market competitive (I received 4 or 5 bids before selecting Patrick). If you're looking for a concrete contractor in the Seattle area, you'd be hard pressed to find better than Glacier Peak.

They show up on time and work diligently and stay on schedule until the job is complete. I would highly recommend Sam and his crew. LaDonna

Highly recommend. Of all the contractors hired to prep our home for sale, Corey was the first to send his proof of insurance. He was prompt, reliable, flexible, and did what he said he would do plus a little bit extra. He completed tasks requiring a wide range of skills and exhibited tenacity, flexibility and quality. If you’re not sure who to choose, you won’t be disappointed choosing Corey and his team. Thank you, Corey!

Jeremy is a highly skilled, reliable contractor, which is rare these days. He arrived on time, did great work, and finished in less time than expected. He did a great job fixing my roof and cleaned up after himself. I plan to rehire him to do a window for me and have already referred him to friends. He just completed the kitchen of a friend of mine who has had bad luck with other contractors. He did great work and she is very happy. This guy is the real deal. He also turned out to be a really nice guy. Hire him. You won't be sorry.

This past month my wife and I hired Alex (Alex Concrete) to excavate and grade a 29' x 18' portion of our backyard, build a 32' x 30" reinforced retaining wall, pour a 18' x 12' patio slab with thickened edges, and place post brackets for a deck and patio cover for our home in Ballard. From estimate to finish the project took two and half weeks and we are very satisfied with the results. Alex was able to provide us with an estimate and detailed proposal of work within 48 hrs over a holiday weekend. The price was very reasonable compared against 4 other estimates. He completed every action item on the proposal. He was very patient and helped us work through and trouble shoot some structural and design issues as well as reinforced and poured some extra concrete pieces to improve the quality and function of our design at no extra cost. Alex and his team were friendly, professional, and hardworking throughout the duration of the project. We will gladly recommend Alex Concrete to any friends and neighbors in need of a concrete contractor in the future.

From the very first meeting, we felt at ease working with Fernando. He understood what we were wanting to accomplish with our kitchen remodel and offered cost saving suggestions and even space planning advice. The final product was a beautiful and practical move-in ready remodel. I've worked with a lot of contractors in the past and Vennux is a good combination of large-scale, commercial project experience in a residential setting. The team was efficient, creative and polite.
