Thanks to Emme, we had a fabulous engagement party at Ward Johnson Winery in Seattle for 40 guests. The food was freshly prepared on location. Emme personally staged the hors d'oeuvres during the party. They looked perfect, tasted even better and the winery smelled wonderful from Emme's cooking. She even allowed me to add a dessert only 3 days prior to the party. All the guests loved the food! Chef Emme is a must have for any gathering!!!!! Thanks again Emme!
A vegetarian cooking class for 7, gluten/milk dairy/corn free, Egyptian/Moroccan/Turkish cuisine...Aubrey was able to do all of this for us. She was so flexible from start to finish in scheduling, menu planning, ingredients & tools. DELICIOUS food, fun personality, easy to follow instruction. She did all the shopping, supplemented tools and ingredients we didn't have, and went to town in our kitchen. Best menu options for vegetarians! Highly recommend Aubrey.
Chef Ken led a small cooking class at my parents house for my Mom's birthday dinner. The food was outstanding, he was a great teacher, and very personable. We plan to work with him again in the future.
Joe did a Tapas class for our Sunday dinner which included 15 people ages from 2 to 90 years. He did a fantastic job, he came prepared, was super patient and had fun with our fun-loving chatty gathering! Everyone still talks about that fun evening!
BEST FOOD EVER! ! ! ! Courtney really put her heart and soul into her cooking. I hired her for a BBQ for the Search and Rescue training event. Everything was delicious and fresh. Even, the price was right. I was impressed with the professionalism and execution of the service. I would highly recommend hiring Courtney for you next event!
Raquel combines a perfect mix of skill, professionalism, creativity and fun while remaining very relatable. I've participated in 5 cooking classes that she has led and I think she is great at tuning into the needs and desires of the group or audience. She combines a strong passion for food with a wide breadth of experience and I would trust her as the head chef in any kitchen.
Shauna provided the food for my wedding on Orcas Island over Labor Day weekend. The venue was quite literally a farm by the water and with limited storage, heat sources, or water, but she and her team pulled off the most memorable, delicious, and picture perfect meals I could have dreamed of. All of my guests were wowed by the preparation and flavors of all the food. I would highly recommend Shauna's services for any event, large (my 150 person destination wedding) or small (a fun evening seafood broil for 6) .... Cheers!
I've worked with Chef Jay for over a year. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about food but he is entertaining in the kitchen. His attention to detail and love for local food all come through in his dishes. He's the perfect personality for leading cooking classes and inspiring his audience.
I have enjoyed my cooking classes with Fumiko and continue to do so. I have tried different recipes (Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian cuisines) that I usually would've never thought of making with her and it has been a fun process. The prices of her classes are a good deal. Fumiko is friendly and down to earth. I never thought I would be into cooking but working with Fumiko, I enjoy it now. I would highly recommend her.
Boni has cooked for my husband and I (and several of our friends) on numerous occasions. It's not always easy because we have several food allergies but she never misses a beat on flavor, texture, or deliciousness. Her versatility and precision in executing the dishes are most notable and exceptional. Boni is very organized and professional from menu planning to shopping to receipts to clean-up. She is a class act through and through. Her food is nothing shy of amazing and she offers so much variety in flavors and cuisines - it's as if she has an infinite wellspring of wonderful food that she can produce flawlessly every time. And then, there's her personality and hospitality. She is genuine, pleasant, warm, kind, and capable of delivering a level of service that the greater area of Seattle could stand to learn from. Whether you have special dietary needs or just want someone else to do the cooking for you, Boni is a star chef and having her cook for you or your family is nothing short of a blessing!
I absolutely recommend Birgit. She is a class act, a dream cook and very sweet and funny. She does errands, cleans, shops, cooks, walks the dogs...it's so nice to come home from a long day's work and have it all done for me. She's a single working-woman's ideal helper.
Yary and her friendly and talented staff prepared a delicious Spanish meal for 90, at our summer celebration. They decorated the tables and also served. Yary made the planning easy. My husband and I like to have parties but usually wear ourselves out by doing everything. It was so nice to have Yary taking care of all the party details so we could enjoy our guests and even feel like a guest at our party! We highly recommend Di' Tu Inc and will hire them again.
My husband and I have taken over 30 cooking classes with Tom at Sur la Table and each one has been a great learning opportunity. Tom is a most talented chef! He is creative, professional, and always gives the class "added value." Regardless of the menu or receipe he always goes that extra mile to create perfect flavor, technique, or time saving elements. When we have a special event or take a class, Tom will always be right up there on the top of the list we choose.
My mother is Japanese and we moved from Japan to the US when I was a child. I grew up eating all kinds of Japanese foods. Unfortunately, I didnt have the interest in cooking until later in life and never learned my mothers culinary secrets until I found Chef Kanako Koizumi at PCC Cooks. Chef Kanako takes the time to provide lots of interesting information about Japanese cuisine, explains each of the steps, and simplifies the mysteries of Japanese cuisine. My friends and I have taken many of Chef Kanako's classes. We once drove 45 minutes to take her Tofu class and it was well worth the drive. Other classes were Japanese Breakfast, Sushi making and Shojin Japanese Cuisine class. Four years ago, we took her Japanese Nabe: One pot dish class. Totally Awesome Class! Chef Kanako borrowed extra large Japanese Nabe pots from her friends for this hands-on-class. Each table of 4 students had their own hot pot in which to prepare their Japanese Nabes. Chef Kanako walked us through each step and came around to each team to give us individual coaching. The meal was so delicious that I actually made all of the Nabe recipes from the class that same evening for my family. Since taking this Japanese Nabe class, I now make Japanese Nabe 3 or 4 times every winter. It's a great dish to make for large groups. I am not sure that I would have had the confidence to tackle this dish had I not taken Chef Kanakos hands-on-class. I commend Chef Kanako for being so thorough and so very motivating. She should be on Food Network and have her own show! My friends and I will absolutely take future classes taught by Chef Kanako because of her passion and interest in teaching, her sharing of recipes, and her stories from Japan.
I took two series of cooking classes for busy people and I wished there were another series of classes from Nancy. I enjoyed every class and I learned a whole new way of cooking healthy meals to last me a lifetime. Nancy is a fantastic teacher! She has the technical expertise of a trained chef and the passion of someone who loves what she does with people. She is able to give her students a framework that allows people to think about cooking in a whole new dimension. I am a diabetic and taking Nancy's classes has allowed me to understand how I can manage my chronic disease in a healthy manner by expanding my choices of food and flavoring my recipes with herbs in place of salt and sugar. Thanks, Nancy. You are the best!!!
I am very passionate about food. It is everywhere and in everything we do. Meet up with friends and family...food is part of it. Great vacations or nights out usually have a food memory too. I love everything about food.
I serve Mexican specialties, all Authentic cooking, with fresh produce, using natural herbs and spices, also different kinds of sauces like chili verde and red mole, and my salsa is the best! "My customers say they can never get enough of my salsa"
