Chef Rory was outstanding! I wanted to set up a special birthday dinner for my husband and boy did Kitchen Rendezvous deliver! Chef Rory really listened to my requests while planning the meal and the food he prepared totally blew us away from start to finish. I will definitely be recommending Kitchen Rendezvous to all of my friends and family and can't wait to work with them again.

I hired Chef Rory for an anniversary dinner for my parents. I live out of state and wanted to do something special for them. Chef and his wife were so accommodating & patient about my parent's dietary restrictions and likes/dislikes (they can be very picky). And I am so grateful to them for taking this dinner on considering it was only a dinner for 2. My parents were thrilled to have someone cook for them and their meal and experience did not disappoint! My parents had only glowing feedback! Thank you, Chef Rory, for making my parent happy and making me look good for selecting you. :) I would happily hire Kitchen Rendezvous again!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    The price is a flat rate per client based upon the event/menu. In addition, the client must pay for all the groceries for the event. Kitchen Rendezvous requires a 50% deposit of the total estimated amount due at the time of signing of the contract for the event.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I grew up in Lynnwood, Washington. I learned my passion for cooking at an early age and then begin my career at the age of 16. I worked a various number of positions in the food industry for 10 years, starting as a dishwasher and eventually earning the title of a Food Production Specialist, where I managed a crew of 20+ cooks! At age 26, I started my own business. I wanted to break out of the monotony of corporate kitchen life and use my own knowledge of food to create amazing Italian inspired dishes, with the highest quality ingredients, local produce and seafood available. By being a personal chef, I am able to work directly with my customer and bring the restaurant experience, including the Chef, right to your home.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Working business professionals, families, friends, up to 8 that would like a chef to cater for their special event. Birthdays, anniversaries, baby shower, welcome home parties, etc.
