Danika Plumbing LLC
About this pro
They were on-time(actually before time) and waiting for me to come. Once they started, the work got done very quickly and clean. Would hire them again in futureJun 8, 2018VerifiedAmanuel A.'s reply
Thank You for letting us help out with your plumbing, and thank you for the review. We hope you call again if you need any more help.
These guys are ok plumbers but you have to keep an eye on them and make sure they are doing exactly what you want. I started out with a big leak under my bathtub and called them out to check it out. Jackie and Dustin came out quickly and together we found out that I had a lots of rot (long term slow leak). They offered to fix the leak but I decided to go for a full remodel. After I fixed the rot issue I had Danika install a new bath tub and redo the shower valve and plumbing. They did a good job with the tub install but not so good with the valve and drain. Bottom line is every time I talked to them about trim or the valve or the marble wall I was going to install they ended up letting me down. They said they couldn't find a tub drain in nickel (only chrome). I ended up going to home depot and buying them a nickel drain and overflow cover. They had already gone to home depot too (and charged me a $100 for the trip!) and bought some things too. They ended up putting in there over flow drain with a lever (that doesn't work) and a push button bottom drain (that I bought) and installing the shower valve too far out (over 1.5 inches) even though I gave them a sample of the marble I was going to use. It all works but looks weird. The handle sticks out too far and the overflow drain screws are rusting after a week of use. I called to complain and they sent Jackie back out but he said the handle is supposed to look that way and there is nothing he can do about the rusting screws. It's all stupid. I'll just order stainless steel screws from Amazon and deal with the stupid shower handle. Just very disappointing.Apr 15, 2018VerifiedAmanuel A.'s reply
Customer is actually complaining about his products that he bought and supplied(shower valve/and drain assembly). The materials were installed properly.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I went to college to be an engineer! When I got out of college, jobs were a little scarce. I joined my friend as a plumber's helper on a temporary basis, until I could find work. Plumbing was interesting and challenging, and it was paying the bills.... the rest is history.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure they are licensed as a Plumber! Many plumbing "technicians" may be sent to your home, but they are not necessarily licensed to do the work. It takes at least 4 years as an apprentice to be eligible to get a plumbing license, and many plumbing "technicians" do not have that experience. So, make sure your plumber really is a plumber, hire a contractor with a plumbing license.
