I have been taking lessons from Jan for a few months. She gives out enough material at the beginning of the class. She is flexible with the class schedule. She is also a patient teacher who is very encouraging.
Theo was very prompt and well-worded in our communications, and set me up with a tutor in my area quickly. I'm looking forward to more of my Japanese language lessons!
We unfortunately only attended one of Bryan's drum lessons .(only because my four year old wouldn't practice). Bryan was great! He even had on Aladdin, upon us arriving which made my daughter extra comfortable. It was a great ice breaker for them to talk about. I would absolutely recommend Bryan to anyone needing drum lessons ages kids to adult.
We are very happy with Elena, my kids are learning quickly and look forward to lessons.
I’ve been studying guitar with Mary for about two months now, and I can’t say enough good about her. tl;dr: Mary will understand and support your goals for guitar playing, and she is beyond capable of helping you reach those goals. First, Mary is very supportive and cognizant of my goals as a musician. If I had a song in mind that I wanted to learn, I’m absolutely sure she would help me learn it. As a beginner, however, I don’t have anything in mind and happily play the tunes she gives me. Speaking of tunes, she has so many on hand. Every week she gives me new sheets with songs that cover the technique we work on. Mary’s extensive lesson repertoire certainly helps fulfill my goal of expanding my musical vocabulary to more artists and genres, all while developing my skills on guitar. Similar to her supportiveness, Mary is also very understanding yet insistent. As a busy young adult, on average I work eight to ten hours a day and follow a daily workout regimen to boot. While my goal is to practice guitar at least 60 minutes per day, on many days I don’t have time and fall short. Despite less-than-ideal practice, Mary accommodatingly works around the progress I make (or don’t make). At each lesson I can consistently expect help with last week’s trouble areas in addition to new material — Mary sure likes to press on. Can you blame her? There’s technique to master and songs to learn! :) On her teaching style, Mary is very creative. She customizes her lessons to the individual, and — I really like this about her — she tells me exactly what she wants to cover at the next two or three lessons. This way I know what she’ll teach, and I have the opportunity to discuss what I want to learn (e.g. scales, barre chords, etc.). With decades of guitar study under her belt, she can teach anything. By “teach” I mean make you really understand. She has countless analogies, anecdotes, and demonstrations for helping you learn or improve any technique. She’ll try things until it “clicks” for you. Teaching creativity like Mary’s is an invaluable skill that will undoubtedly help any student she has. To end on a light note, Mary truly is a spectacular musician. Her playing is effortless and always a joy to hear. She makes even the beginning things I’m working on sound musical and fun to play. Mary is a gem of a teacher, and I can’t recommend her enough.
Ryan is a great teacher! He has a way of motivating you to want to learn how to play. In the short time I was able to take lessons from Ryan, I learned so much
I'm really enjoying the lessons ken has provided. He has a good system for teaching and I look forward to each session and learning something new.
Before I met Jordan my singing was mediocre at best. I did not understand support, resonance, or how to manipulate dynamics. After only 1 lesson I saw immediate improvements. Within one hour I had learned how to achieve twice as much breath as I had before. After a week I realized that I had high notes and after a month my voice was consistent enough for me to record arias and apply for summer programs. Jordan is the most patient and kind teacher I have ever had. She does not scream at you or get frustrated when you don't grasp the concept right away. She truly cares about her students and her technique is not "one size fits all". Each student has different needs and she understands that completely. I am so lucky to have found Jordan because there are no other people, let alone teachers like her that can inspire the kind of improvements that she has in me.
Andrea is so talented, funny, easy to learn from, and knowledgeable about how the voice works! I highly recommend her for lessons!
I have not been taking lessons too long with Ed, but so far have found him: 1) accommodating with scheduling; 2) willing to work at the pace of his students; 3) quick to give suggestions on how to improve one's practice; 4) interested in his students as individuals; and 5) a great value for the $.
Amber is a very patient and through teacher who is well educated in music and child development. She has a genuine love for music which I'm so happy to see is contagious to my kiddos! I have 2 children with special needs and she is the perfect teacher for them! My kids look forward to their music lessons and can't wait to show her what they practiced all week!
My daughter has only had two lessons with Aaron, so I do not have a long term relationship to base my review on. However, I can say that Aaron was very prompt at returning my emails and phone calls . Very professional in how he approached making financial arrangements and scheduling our lessons. He provided references for me to check with. He offered a complementary initial lesson. And perhaps most important, when I pick up my daughter from her lesson she has a smile on her face and says Aaron is very nice.
I've always wanted to take voice lessons but I never gathered enough courage to actually do it. I decided to give Maddy a chance and since starting a few months ago I'd say my confidence has tripled. I'd recommend her to anyone!
Voice lessons, M. is clearly well trained, warm and she knows how to tailor ro each student
He is teaching my girls to play piano. They are 8 and 6 years old. He gets the girls engaged and really excited for their lessons. He knows how to make his classes fun and inspiring.
Dave has been my teacher for a few years. As I'm a busy, working adult student, he's been able to remain flexible with my schedule and needs. His lessons are very well documented, and flow logically from one to another.
I enjoyed having lessons from Mrs. Galavis.
I really enjoy music lessons with Jacob, I've had several teachers and he is by far the easiest to work with and to learn from. He's a great guitar player and keeps the lessons fun, he also does a good job at making sure that what I'm practicing has something to do with what I'm interested in. I've had teachers in the past that did not make guitar interesting, Jacob is great, well worth the money! I'm much better than I was before I started with him.
Love this school! It's been great experience for both of my kids. We've been taking piano and guitar lessons for last 4 years
I have known Masood personally and professionally for over 35 years. He is an extremely patient and hardworking individual. I have had the opportunity to work with him and have referred students to him on numerous occasions while my niece has been taking piano lessons from him for the past year or so and has made excellent progress. I would definitely recommend Masood for anyoneâs music endeavor.
Excited to be working with Kiki for my daughter's piano lessons.
