Amy was the lead editor for our cookbook, As Wild As It Gets. She did an excellent job. She was able to use her wordsmithing skill to change phrases so they were interesting and humorous when appropriate. She maintained a consistency in all her edits and her grammatical changes were right on. She also does something that is not always available from other editors, i.e. she maintains the voice of the author and promotes the author's agenda, not the editors. Greatly appreciated.

Mandy is a top notch designer. She exemplifies her creativity in her life as well as her work. Publishers, Authors, and others can do much worse on the pro market hiring a designer for their project than with Miss Mandible Designs.

Just started. She gave me a book to write in and a little homework too. Which is what I wanted. We met at the Marysville library. I think I can learn a lot

I hired Carrie to help me structure the book I had been working on for years. She was able to take hundreds of pages, find the key themes and patterns to tie it all together into a logical and compelling novel. I couldn’t have done it without her.

“I love being a creative, but I’m horrible at self-promotion. Michelle is a natural at bringing out the best in others and helping them stand out from the crowd. She has been my chief editor and general promotions manager for almost 5 years now and I don’t know what I’d do without her. She initially presented me with a promotional plan, calendar, and a strict to-do list and because I listened to her advice, I can say that the sales for my music and book have increased by at least 30%! I only know this because she presents me with stat reports on a regular basis – all I know is that I have been busier than ever with one speaking or singing engagement after another. My motivational speaking career is also finally taking off and I have been invited to speak at charity events all over California. My story is getting out there and I couldn’t be happier. She asks me often, “How are you doing? Can you handle more?” To which I say, “Yes, bring it on!” Here’s one example, while planning a personal vacation in Italy this last summer, I knew about a music festival and told Michelle about it. One call from her and I was booked to perform live on the stage in Italy! I’m sure there were more negotiations behind it than that, but all I had to do was show up. My advice? Be good at what you do and let Michelle be good at what she does, helping you shine.”

I retained Ms. Daniel to edit my manuscript for publishing. This was a manuscript of poetry and abstracts that would require an editor a great deal of patience. While I didn't have a deadline to complete this editing task, it would require her professionalism and constructive thinking. She tackled the issues with a very positive and forward thinking approach. She expanded the readership for the manuscript dramatically and addressed each poem and abstract in such a way that I was awed by her creativeness. We maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process, even though we were 1500 miles apart. My manuscript is now ready for publication and the publisher is very impressed with the high quality of the manuscript which I credit Ms. Daniel.

I hired Rachel to create a website for my books. She took her time and walked me through the process, step by step. I told her what I thought I wanted, she listened patiently, asked important questions, took the time to read my work to get a better feel for what I might want and need and then she went to work. What she created far exceeded my expectations. I couldn't have asked for more. This was a few years ago and even today, it looks better than most I find. Since the website went up, she's made herself available for updates. I never feel abandoned by her. I put my trust in Rachel because I've learned she's a professional who gives you more than you ask for or expect. The best part was the price. She was more reasonable than anyone else I could find. Great product, better price! Don't take my word for it, visit my website to see her fine work. migrantsun.com

For the past few years, Ethan has provided manuscript critiques for me on a long writing project. His feedback has been invaluable to me. The best thing about working with Ethan is that he takes the time to understand what your unique goals and vision are, and his critiques are all directed at helping you realize that distinct vision. Some editors and reviewers are only good at helping writers who are working in a particular genre or working toward a particular kind of artistic vision; Ethan is great at helping you realize your own vision, whatever that may be. I can't say enough about how helpful his feedback has been to my project, and I would recommend him to anyone with my full confidence.

“Sharon is gifted with so many talents. Experiencing her passion and joy while vision mapping together has awakened my creative side. Her laser focus insights and coaching have inspired me to put the pieces together into a solid action plan. Within a few minutes, she offered me an outline to play with to bring my book into creation now! I love Sharon’s no nonsense action approach, infused with lots of love and support. If you have a dream and are ready to make it reality but are not sure where to start or find yourself procrastinating, then do yourself a favor and contact Sharon.

Philip has brought so much life to the short story audio recordings he's done for me at WilyWriters.com. He always shows up prepared, and he's a true professional. His voice is flexible, and he does accents well. He has a good ear for when he needs to redo a line. I can easily recommend him for voice acting or audio book recordings.

          About

Writing and literature are my passions. I provide writing, editing, proofreading, copywriting, and tutoring. I do this in addition to buying, selling and trading, in rare, collectible, hard to find books, and ephemera. These things plant me firmly at the center of my own, little universe of art and literature. I'm happy to be there. My work is clear, clean, and fluid while remaining within the framework and style of the original. I'm comfortable working closely with others to produce superior work. Brainstorming sessions can be fun and productive and there is no extra charge for wildly entertaining stories. As time allows, of course. I enjoy working with children and young adults and I'm available to tutor English and History. I teach a Sunday school class and have been background checked and scrutinized up and down so that I can work with children. I have recently returned to school to earn my teaching certificate. While providing original material, I don't provide finished research papers or ghostwrite material that may be used deceptively. My fees are reasonable and if you don't like what you see, don't pay for it. I am willing to travel, within reason; also happy to work via the internet. Drop me a line if you think I can help you out.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
