I really liked how her class had a lot of different aspects and included not only yoga practice that was the right level for the students but also including yoga philoshophy and explainations of how the modern practice of yoga differs from it's roots as a practice. I als enjoyed learning different meditations, new stretches and poses.
Gina has been helping me w/my alignment as I navigate a new yoga practice. I am 60 w/some sports injuries to work through. She is punctual and mindful of our time together as well as flexible if we need to change things. She also provides a written summary of our work together (to help me as I practice w/out her!) while supplementing these summaries w/relevant support information. Gina is gifted in her abilities to communicate and provide specific guidance towards optimum form (for me!). I have seen dramatic improvement and am gaining more confidence in deepening my practice. She has a deep knowledge of yoga, enduring patience and a steadfast commitment to teaching. It is her "right livelihood" and I am so incredibly lucky to have her in my life! I consider her my teacher and will continue to work w/her as I progress in this amazing journey of mind, body, and spirit integration.
This was my first experience doing yoga and I was really surprised how stiff my body was. Jean worked with me to loosen up my muscles with poses that I was able to do and instructed me on how to center myself and help with my daily stress level. Due to no fault of Jean Becker I am not able to go back at this time, but I hope very much to revisit her in the future. I liked the one on one attention, which made me feel less nervous. I was a bit sore the next day but that was to be expected.
A great teacher! She connects yoga practice to mindfullness. Very cognizant of the level of ability of her students.
Crissy has taught me Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. Hatha is the basic entry level yoga, Vinyasa more advanced, and Yin a slower and deeper stretch. Personal favorites are Vinyasa for a good exercise/sweat and Yin for when I'm feeling tight in the hamstrings / lazy. She is very hands-on, outgoing and friendly, and overall excellent teacher who knows the sanskrit words and proper technique/alignments. The downstairs residential room is great for small and private sessions. Very conveniently located in Woodinville. Highly recommend.
I sought a yoga instructor with patience and humility. Lalainya is definitely patient, understanding, positive, & non judgmental. There are other instructors who expect you to be at a certain level of understanding already. As a new student, I find that she is not only understanding but also open to ideas. She welcomes questions as an opportunity to enlighten and share relevant thoughts about the integration of yoga in your overall daily life. If there is any position not held correctly, she will let you know right away. If you seek a knowledgeable, but humble instructor, you will not be disappointed when working with Ms. Rawlings. She listens to your needs, respects/acknowledges your limitations all while encouraging your exploration of self awareness and unlimited potential. This is only my experience and I'm pleased with the results. You will be, too.
Outstanding community and studio that offers both yoga and massages ! Located in interbay it's a must try for any of the classes
Josh is a generous yoga instructor who completely understands his students needs and comfort levels. He welcomes you with a warm smile, delivers gentle guidance when youre not hitting your mark and has an eclectic but fitting mix for music. The yoga was relaxing, but I was definitely sore the next day. He knows when a student is struggling or reaching the correct level and easily accommodates. Highly recommended.
Siri is an outstanding yogi with confidence and poise. We love her beautiful voice, which she incorporates into her practice.
Taunya is lovely. She is patient, encouraging, and flexible - schedule wise and physically! ;)

I am inspired by helping others, learning from others and creating community through the common language of yoga and fitness. I have over 8 years of experience in the fitness industry, holding positions of master trainer, fitness coach, fitness manager, fitness/program director and most recently, yoga instructor. I have coached thousands of training sessions, both private and group, resulting in successful stories. My true passion is teaching yoga in both group and private sessions. I believe in the transformative power of the practice, and I want to share it with others. I love helping everyone become better versions of themselves.
I teach vinyasa (flow) style yoga. I create unique flows each time I teach that open up all channels of the body and mind. As I instruct poses, I cue proper alignment to insure safety and maximize benefits for practitioners. I absolutely love to share yoga with others.
Through the physical practice of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), and meditation in our classes, you will begin to access the whole of yoga. Erin and Melissa also lead annual fall yoga retreats to Harmony Hill Retreat Center in beautiful Hood Canal, WA.
I offer concierge yoga services for private instruction, community group classes, customized yoga routines and therapeutic yoga.
Personalized, fun, and done with sprinkles of humor! What fun is life if we're always taking ourselves too seriously? All jokes aside though, proper alignment, muscle engagement and breathing are of paramount importance in this yoga practice. I have a strong interest in working with athletes and those who experience limited mobility.
I am a certified yoga instructor looking to help you get your mind, body and health connected. I work with clients on a personal basis, working with what their goals are and where they are at today.
