Hosted a holiday party for 24 at a residence. Chef Paul and Stephanie were wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. We loved it!
Dinner party for 12. Setup, serve and cleanup. Katie arrived early (best way to be on time!), was professional, just the right mix of "transparent" and pleasant. She is definitely coming back!
The Great Surprisal was hired to be our event coordinator as well as serving as our emcee. This is an annual dinner/fundraiser for a small non-profit. Amelia worked with us from the beginning finding a caterer, hiring musicians, working with venue, coordinating volunteers for our silent auction as well as other parts of our evening. We increased our net income by over 25%! We had used the venue before but with the creativity and cost conscious Great Surprisal we had a totally transformed 'gym' from years gone by. Past attendees commented on the greatly improved environment, excellent food and the overall sense of a better-planned event. We will work with The Great Surprisal again and encourage others to do so. Last year we worked with The Great Suprisal as an emcee only. Customers should definitely check out 'Gina' as an addition to a party or event. We are very pleased with The Great Surprisal's work ethic and creativity of working on a limited budget.
We hosted a dinner party for 10 at our home. Nola and her assistant Flo prepared an amazing meal, from appetizers through dessert. Nola was so easy to work with through the planning stages and had great ideas for how to optimize our home and time with our guests. As if the delicious food weren't enough, she also made sure the kitchen and dining room were clean before she left, which was an added bonus to an otherwise exquisite evening. I would highly recommend her and will not hesitate to call her again when we entertain.
We worked with Shelby for almost a whole year to plan our wedding. We were out of state for most of the time, but she was great with using Skype and keeping a timeline of tasks. We would have regular meetings to go over ideas or plans, but she was always available and answered in a timely manner if we had a question outside of our meetings. The most important aspect is that she really listened to what we wanted and the day turned out better than I could have imagined! Shelby made the whole process stress free and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of. I would highly recommend her for any party/wedding planning or decorating/designing needs.

I used Royal India Kirkland for my catering needs to host my son's graduation party and they did a great job! Planning the menu was easy and they were responsive and flexible and able to accommodate some changes over the week. Food was good and they took good care of setting up, serving and cleaning up, which made it a lot easier for me!
All around the best wedding/event planners! They make it so stress-free and make sure to find everything you've asked for. Reneille especially has been there for us throughout the whole planning process and found us the perfect venue right at our budget! Absolutely love them! Wow! She was absolutely amazing from our first meeting all the way through the end of our wedding. Great communication and extremely organized. She was worth her weight in gold the day of the wedding, because our DJ no-showed and she did not panic. She was able to find someone last minute after making over 20 calls. The guests had no idea that there was a problem. I would recommend her hands down. If you don't think you need a "day of" wedding coordinator, think again! She takes care of all the LITTLE details and in our case a BIG detail. Thanks Jen, you are the best!!
The Yelp Elite party was a HUGE success! The decor was amazing and very appropriate for the time of year. Duos catering and location were two excellent choices on Innovative Events' part. I think my favorite aspect though, was how well they catered to their audience. Between ages 21 and 45 is a massive gap as far as tastes and preferences go, and between the food, booze, and games they nailed it!
Lori is fantastic planning a party! She did my son's rehearsal dinner in our home, another son's wedding reception poolside at our home--both over the top in creativity, ambiance and excellence!
