My experience with All City was a horrible one. I haven't had a need to have a company come and clean my home, but with the tasks of getting a home ready for listing, I wanted one less thing to do. I started with calling various places and getting quotes. Most places gave me a quote over the phone, mainly hourly rates. I wanted a realistic quote by having someone come to my home to see the condition and what I expected. Julia came over and we discussed what the definition of "deep cleaning" meant. She told me the home would be spotless, like a brand new house. I told her my intent was to put the home on the market. We went into some details about walls, base boards, trims, and it seemed our definition of a "deep cleaning" was simpatico. We continued upstairs and she told me the banisters would be spotless, chandelier would be dusted and spotless, hard water stains on shower door, etc. I then asked her for an honest quote after seeing the condition of my home and expectations. She quoted me 6 hrs x two people = 12 hrs @ $35 dollars and hour. My wife and I discussed it and call her back to schedule. The day arrived and Julia was no where to be found. Two workers arrived and were approximately 30 minutes late. I wanted to ensure what was discussed earlier was still understood. I felt there was a communication barrier and decided to call Julia to alleviate any confusion. She ensured me everything was fine. I came home an hour before the 6 hour quote and the workers still had the entire down stairs to do. I decided to call Julia, to keep her informed of the progress and how I felt about the cleaning experience so far. She told me to let her workers know what I saw and have them clean it. (The downstairs still needed to be done) and any time over I would have to pay. I felt I shouldn't have to pay for extra hours due to it not being done as expected. I wanted Julia to come over to see my home to capture the same picture and to understand where I was coming from. I asked about payment and she told me the bill would be emailed to me. The workers finish and leave my home. ( It took an 1.5 hours to clean my downstairs. Which includes a half bath, living room, breakfast area, kitchen, dining room, and family room. The messiest part of the home. It took 4.5 hours to clean stairs, laundry room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms). I called Julia again and insisted she see my home and how I felt about this whole experience. The workers returned to fix some of the things my wife and I noticed. I had to point at things with a wet rag and do some scrubbing too. Julia finally arrived and ask about the check. (I thought the bill was going to e-mailed to me.) At first she was all about customer satisfaction. She asked what was wrong and I showed her places where it wasn't cleaned. She told her workers in Spanish and they clean the areas. I told her baseboards, cabinets in the kitchen, the back-splash in the kitchen. It turned into I showed, someone wiped, and I had to continue showing. During this Julia's frustration started billowing. The back-splash in our downstairs bathroom had something on it. (So it wasn't cleaned. How it got there I don't know, but the point is... it wasn't cleaned.) That's when she exploded. Her husband told me I was too picky and that they weren't going to clean it. Julia told me no cleaning companies clean like that, etc, etc, etc. Here is a list of things that weren't done. -Tooth paste on cabinets in master bathroom. I looked and noticed tooth paste. I had to have the workers come back and wipe it off. -Chandelier she pointed out to be spotless. Wasn't done. At all. -Base boards, Cabinets, Window ledges (inside), any wooden surface in the home were dusted not wiped through out the whole house. -Carpets were vacuum very well. I still had little things on my carpet. Also, she told they have their own equipment. They USED my VACUUM. -They told me they mopped the floors. My floors do not looked mopped. -They used my phone charger to charge their phone. Seriously. -Doors were not wiped off through out the whole house. -Back of toilets were not cleaned. Conclusion: I want to give an honest opinion and my experience was horrible. In retrospect, there was no crew leader to lead and ensure expectations were met. Due to the lack of a crew leader, she did not show in the beginning or at completion until it came to payment. Our first visit with Julia, she did not bring a check list, what she offers to clean, she DID NOT write anything. She was very cordial until the end, when there were issues. The things that were discussed were not done. My home was cleaned as in floors were swept/mopped??, mirrors cleaned, carpet vacuumed (with my vacuum cleaner and not very good. I have good carpet), dusting (except for the chandelier), the shower doors she praised about were cleaned, and oven was cleaned. I consider that to be clean, as in an everyday clean. It's the same cleaning I would do, but I paid someone to do it for me, sucks to be me, and I could of done it in less than six hours. The cleaning I expected to pay for was the "deep cleaning" I didn't want to do. The things discussed and agreed upon, and the expectations were not met. I told them not to enter or clean any of the closets due to firearms and they didn't need cleaning. The closets were entered, that's where my vacuum cleaner came from and our weight scale was place in another closet. (Integrity issue.) I would not recommend this cleaning company to anyone, but if you decide to I would have everything in writing, take before and after pictures, and if it's a "deep clean" (The kind you want when you list your home), go with another company.

This was the best service I have ever had from a cleaning company. From start to finish I was very impressed at how detailed and complete Julia and her crew were. I had guest coming for a week from out of town and needed someone out quickly so my house would be ready. I don't clean often and have 3 kids so I really needed a deep cleaning. Julia came out and went over all of the things that were must haves for my service and her crew covered all of those things and more. I honestly don't remember my house being this clean before. I have to say that I have hired 3 other cleaning companies in the past - 2 big chain companies and 1 other family business and no other compares to the quality of service I received. I will definitely hire her again as a gift to myself!!!
