Introduction: Hi there, I’m Brian Anderson, the craftsman and artist behind Anderson Woodworks handcrafted Fine Furniture & Cabinets. Based in yelm Washington in the stunning Pacific Nortweast , I take great pride in creating high-quality, artistic pieces that will beautifully decorate your home. When it comes to crafting fine furniture, I believe that true quality shines through handcrafted work. That’s why I use hand tools as much as possible during the creation process. I firmly believe that the passion and energy flowing from my creative mind through my hands into each piece bring them to life. To ensure longevity and durability, I meticulously hand-cut all joinery using time-tested techniques that have proven to last for centuries. The end result is furniture that stands the test of time, unlike the mass-produced pieces destined for landfills. I want my clients to have a deep connection with their furniture, so I actively involve them through the process I sincerely hope you share my love for creating timeless furniture and cabinets. I worked with Anderson Woodwork's and was superbly satisfied. He was open to ideas and yet provided me the guidance I needed. Through his drafts and sketches we were able to make it work. He crafted my bride a custom bed that will never be replaced. Thank you again Anderson Woodwork's for bringing my idea to reality.

It's been difficult to connect with the contractor. No plans for committing to the project yet.

Hi Jill I want to respond to your review I received your message Saturday Jan /14/ 2017 at around 9:00 I had in turn left you a message on thumb tack that I would call you the fallowing Monday . Sunday I got this review.I do not think a review is warranted at this time considering we have no transaction at this time other than playing phone tag . I have other clients that are in my schedule and are patently whiting to have there project started. I am a skilled artist creating fine furniture not just building stuff. So pleas have a little patience pleas I will get back to you. If you are unsatisfied you have the opportunity to find another artist .

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The process begins with your visit to your home to discuss style wood type and size. We take great pride in using our skills to help you create the furniture and rooms of your dreams. Our goal is to have you as a customer for life and we want that process to begin with you’re feeling exited and comfortable and that you are a part of the process. Since we know that one size does not fit all, we offer you the opportunity to customize most items to suit your lifestyle and needs. We will be happy to help you to make it just right. When it is time to build your furniture, we start with the best materials, and out of reverence for the forests that supply us, we use only certified or U.S. hardwoods that are unthreatened and replenish able. We begin with the labor intensive and difficult process of selecting woods for careful matching of grains and color. Joinery is often not visible but our mortise and tenon joints provide the strongest way to connect two pieces of wood. To insure that your furniture is as pleasing to the touch as it is to the eye, we take each part through multiple hand sanding and finishing steps. Anderson Woodwork’s signs our name to your heirloom – a true sign of pride in work well done.
