FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had an interest in photography since a little girl. I've always been a visual absorber who is primarily interested in pictures than words. Flipping through magazines is a total treat for me as I study the photographs and barely read the words! Photography started out as a hobby for me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I'm hired for are weddings & newborn sessions though many families use me to update their family photos year after year! I typically photograph an average of 35 weddings per year, over the past 4 years. I started out as a family & high school senior photographer about 8 years ago.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice when searching to hire a photographer is to ensure the client has a full understanding of the photographer's portfolio. A few pictures on a website just isn't enough. Photographers must be able to show their portfolio extensively and include sessions from multiple, if not every, client. That way, the client has reassurance of the photographers experience and capabilities! This is highly important when selecting a wedding photographer because there are crucial moments during the day that must be captured.
