- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$120 mo. 30 minute lessons once per week $180 mo. 45 minute lessons once per week
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I schedule a mini lesson with the interested party. In addition I discuss studio policy and we talk about goals. If all is agreed upon, we can find a convenient time-slot and begin lessons the following week. There is no high pressure involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Linda Bates was formally trained for seven years under the tutelage of Joanne Skidmore in Portland, Oregon. She has taught piano successfully for the past 30 years. In addition to teaching, Ms. Bates has acted as Music Director for several community theater productions in Crested Butte Colorado which included vocal direction and accompaniment for the musicals Annie and Oliver and served as pianist in Cabaret. She was employed by The Portland Waldorf School as classical pianist for the Eurhythmy class. Linda has served as Director of Music Ministries, Worship Leader, pianist/keyboardist and Music Coordinator in various churches for 17 years and has accompanied school concerts, numerous weddings and social events. She considers music to be a lifelong pursuit, and continues to further her education by attending pedagogy seminars, college classes and teacher workshops.
