- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently studying at the New York Institute of Photography and I try to take at least three professional workshops per year, the last one was a lighting workshop with Joe McNally through the American Society of Media Photographers. I am also a member of several professional bodies.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a hobbyist 30 years ago, I studied photography at college and university and continued that hobby until I had children. They became my subject and I was amazed at how fleeting those moments were and how I valued those images and memories. Capturing those memories for clients became a natural progression.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I love to photograph life, whether that is newborns, pregnancy, milestones and or growing families! Most of my clients are military and I love the fact I can take their family photos so they have something to cherish and remember during those tough deployments!
