- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is unquie.. Each yard is a different size and each customer wants different things.. I have many customers already on regular yard care service and they are based on their individual needs.. I found that I should be overcharging for things the customer doesn't want and undercharging for things the customer needs. Standard doesn't fit in this business you have to provide a service to the customer that fits that customers needs..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If I make a bid on a customer job I will contact the customer via Thumbtack and ask for physical address and photos of job required.. I will walk the customer through the process over the phone such as schedule to be done and what will actual occur. Complete the job when I see I've been hired via Thumbtack or verbally over the phone.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a person of management for many many years and have at on time or another required these types of services at my own home I observed a skill set that was missing from the folks that I hired and that was quality, dependability, and communication, I determined that adding these skills to a service in demand I would be succesful and very busy.
