Introduction: Oh my goodness hey guys!!! My name is Izzy and I am a Bio Major turned Freelance photographer. I know what you’re thinking, “What does a biologist know about photography?” It all started on an extravagant trip to Central America with a couple of my girl friends, where a seed was planted and really never lost its footing. Since then, I have approached every shoot with spirit, creativity, and so much LOVEEEEE!!! For me a photoshoot is more than just simply standing and snapping a photo. It is seizing the energy and light given off by my clients by spinning around, running in place awkwardly, rolling around in a big open field. Moving in any and every weird way possible to get the authenticity, happiness and magic a photo can portray. Being a military wife I completely understand some struggles so I give active duty, retired military 10% discounts!

Amberlyn is just so much fun to work with and she is such a creative photographer. She is so professional and definitely has the eye. I was having a blast with her the entire photo shoot. She made us feel so comfortable. I was worried we would be very stiff. She made us feel like complete naturals behind the camera! Highly highly recommend her if you want to capture the magic!

Amberlyn helped make my surprise proposal possible. I got in contact with her three weeks before my proposal date and she continually worked with me through numerous phone calls, FaceTimes, and google meets to plan out our special day. Not only did she accommodate travel (drove 3+ hours to Sunrise, Mt. Rainer), but also made sure to arrive 2 hours early and hiked a little over 1 mile so she could be setup to capture the perfect moment. During the surprise proposal, Amberlyn was able to stay hidden while my fiancé and I were hiking to the area, and then emerge at the perfect time to capture our raw emotion with the magnificent Mt. Rainer background. Amberlyn also worked with my entire family to take additional photos after the proposal. After the proposal and photo shoot, Amberlyn was able to send me 50+, fully edited photos within 48 hours. She also was in constant communication with me throughout the editing process. I highly recommend Amberlyn to capture your special day. She will put 100% into every step of the process and is truly excited to capture the most important moment of your life! Please see some of pictures attached.

We had a really positive experience doing a family photo shoot. I felt comfortable and you could tell Amberlyn really cared to create a good experience for all of us. She was very attentive and helped to get our 16month old daughter engaged for the camera and helped to bring out her fun personality. Would set up another shoot with her in the future! : )
