"My kids, ages 8 and 9, smile when Hyemi arrives and seem to enjoy every moment with her. They are learning so much but don't even notice the work of it, as Shen meets them where they're at and inspires their excitement about the music. We treasure Hyemi and her piano instruction! She also takes great joy in the work. It shows."

"My husband and I both started piano lessons (beginner level) with Tim about six months ago. We had previously worked with another teacher who was a good pianist, but not a trained teacher. The difference is impressive. Tim is friendly, supportive, and encouraging, He has taught us how to practice, not just what to practice. He is an excellent coach, paying attention to details (that really make a difference), instead of accepting pieces that are generally okay. Although we aren't natural musicians, we are making steady progress, and having fun doing it."

"I LOVE taking piano lessons with Aleta Barber. She is a natural teacher. Although I have had years of music in elementary and high school, as well as private lessons as an adult, she has introduced me to ways of learning I've never been exposed to. I feel so fortunate to be working with her."

"We just started our daughter's lessons but Cayce is a well organized and professional who loves her craft. She has been very helpful in answering our questions and determining our short and long-term goals. Her website is very well done and a great aid in tracking our daughter's progress, lessons, and for communication."

"Our 10 year daughter has been under Shireen's tutelage for almost two years, and is already becoming a fine pianist. She is also turning into a very good vocalist! Shireen has never been anything but positive, helpful, and understanding. She is always very thoughtful in the way she teaches. She explains everything, and why it is important, making it easy for the child to understand WHY. She expects the same courtesy, punctuality, and attendance from her students, that she herself gives 100% of the time. We couldn't be happier with the choice we have made for our daughter's piano and voice lessons. Highly recommend!!"

"Thanks Jessica for teaching our 2 kids. She offers violin lessons for older one and piano lessons for the younger one. We had lots of trouble with our previous teachers. Jessica knows how to deal with them not practicing and help them set goals for their music learning. Our 2 kids also have different personality and talent level and she seems to tailor her style accordingly. I would recommend her as a piano and violin teacher. "

"Tara Tinsley is extremely talented! She also has the upmost patience while teaching. I am a beginner at the guitar, and if there was a word to describe "less a than beginner," that would be me. She went at my own pace because obviously I am very slow to switch between chords. I have taken a couple lessons so far and as long as I practice what she teaches at home I know I will be able to play songs in no time. I would recommend her to anybody for guitar lessons. Her office is in a great, historic building in downtown Tacoma. It is a professional office building with free street parking close by (which is almost impossible to find downtown). The lobby has seating for students and/or parents to wait. For parents that don't want to wait inside, there is a coffee and wine bar a block away! If anyone is skeptical she has music on YouTube and Spotify. Check it out and I know you will be convinced to learn from her!"

"My daughter has started piano lessons with Janina recently and she says she always enjoy them. Mrs. Beran has great patience, explains everything very clearly, and makes the lessons not only fun, but also very educational. My daughter is always excited to go to piano lessons. Thank you, Mrs. Beran! I would recommend Mrs. Beran to anyone willing"
