- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we provide a free inspection and estimate for work. This includes educating them on the process of mitigating or remediating water/mold damage, helping them manage other involved contractors, providing guidance throughout the process, and providing documentation of our rendered services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The President of Suredry is a Master Water Restorer, and the supervising team at Suredry are licensed and certified through the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) as well. This is the governing entity over the restoration industry. We hold the following individual certifications (at the very least): WRT (Water Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician). We are also a licensed and bonded company.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to check if the company is licensed, bonded, and holds industry related certifications through the IICRC. They should have familiarity with the S500 & S520 Standards. Make sure to receive a full report of their intended mitigation/remediation practices and any Safety Data Sheets (SDS's) for chemicals/solutions used within your home for your own protection.
