Introduction: What makes a good video? A compelling, engaging story. I have been collaborating with a variety of cinematographers, editors, illustrators, animators, audio engineers, musicians, and producers since 2010 doing just that: giving life to your concept with a plot that keeps your audience engaged and highlights why they should care about what you do. I can collaborate with a team for a big production or can work on a budget if you just need a simple piece of content to keep your audience's attention and drop bounce rates on your website. If you need a teaser video, a testimonial video, screen-cast demo, live event capture, product demo, title sequence, music video, or a full-fledged feature film production, I can make it happen. Let me know how I can help you!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My specialty is story-telling: finding the story in the information that you want to share with your audience through a video. I direct and collaborate with a production team.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    1. Find a great writer! The most important element to any video is always the story. Your writer ought to have a clear, engaging voice that resonates with your audience in a way that triggers a variety of emotions. 2. Be upfront about your budget needs. We need to know the scope of the project before we start making production plans. Your budget will determine what we will be able to do. 3. Don't feel limited to the styles showcased in a single portfolio. Video is magical -- just about anything you can dream up can be created. Have some examples of pieces you've seen, or draw out some rough storyboards to help us understand what you want to see. 4. Get on the phone or meet in person if you can -- and have a good chat. A good vendor will have their own expertise to bring to the table, but they will also listen well to your feedback and make revisions from your input. Sometimes people just don't vibe with you, and that's ok. You should value their expertise, but also feel comfortable sharing your own thoughts. 5. And finally, have a distribution plan! You can invest into a great video, but if you don't have a plan to get it out into the wild it's not going to show the full potential of its return.
